    I hired ************************* to inspect and make repairs to my home irrigation system on 2/14/23. He came over, activated all zones of the system and made recommendations for repairs. He used **** rebates as an incentive for me to move forward with the repairs and, as I find out now, inflated the amounts of the rebates so I would pay him more. He said that he had a contact at **** "who knows the quality of his work" so all he needed to do was call over and give them his recommendations. They would approve his work and give him the rebate amount. He charged me $400 cash for the consultation and changing 2 sprinkler heads. 2/15/23 - **** texted me early in the morning with his proposal and I agreed to add in drip lines. He happened to have a last minute cancellation so he was available. He came over in the morning and proceeded to do the work agreed upon. Once all was said and done, he said we needed for **** to do a final inspection. I paid $1200 by check. He took the paperwork with him and said he'd file it with ****. That never happened. He made many false promises or had excuses for the next several days why this was not done. I arranged a consultation with **** myself. 2/27/23 - The **** representative did a complete and thorough inspection of my system. The conclusions: controller set to times that would warrant me getting citations, 3 broken heads and or pipes that created water gushing in the back yard, one drip line that was just a length of tube covered over by rocks and not connected to anything, and no drip line at all on the other side. This was the most egregious breach of trust and professional workmanship either of us had seen. 3/4/23 - As of this writing, ************************* is responsive to my texts but continues with his dishonesty and fraud. Since he is not an accredited business by the BBB, the best I can hope for with this complaint is that it gets posted and helps others not to fall victim to this deceitful scammer.
