    Review for Lone Star Assembly ***** If I could give this company zero stars, I would. I hired Lone Star Assembly and paid a deposit in good faith after speaking with *****, who assured me the job would be completed as promised. Not only did the service never take place, but ***** has since failed to return my deposit despite multiple assurances that he would issue a refund.I have had to escalate this matter to my bank as a fraudulent transaction, as ***** has shown no accountability, no communication, and no integrity throughout this process. He has not responded to follow-up messages, nor has he made any attempt to resolve the situation professionally.This company lacks the basic ethics and professionalism required to run a legitimate business. I am warning other consumers: do not trust Lone Star Assembly with your time, money, or property. Jareds practices are deceptive and dishonest. I highly recommend that BBB investigate this business for unethical behavior, and I urge others to proceed with extreme caution.

    ***** accepted a job assembling a playset we purchased for the backyard. Originally he told us he'd be there to assemble it on monday (3/31), but he didn't show. He came on Tuesday, put a few hours in and said he would be back again the following day to finish up, shouldn't be more than a couple hours. Again, he never showed up. This occurred multiple times where he would say he only has an hour left, he only has an hour left and it wouldn't be done. Fast forward a week, it's still not done. The only communication I got was when I either called or text him, but never him updating us. It's not until wednesday (4/9) of the following week that the playset is "done." Wife and I were away when he finished so he sent pictures, but what he failed to show was the screws barely hanging into the boards. There are missing bolts, items not correctly installed, the whole thing isn't secured to the ground. I asked about this and the explanation was that he tried inserting a stake and hit rock, so therefore he didn't install any of them and he took the stakes. I can't even finish the project myself cause he took all the hardware with him. No explanation, just felt entitled to take it as his own. When asked to return the stolen items, he said he would bring it by after his current job, but I'm sure you can guess whether or not he showed up...I wouldn't recommend ***** and this company to anyone that actually values their property. I'm literally going through the instructions to verify everything that's installed, because he has lost all trust as a "professional" and I truly don't feel safe for my kids to be on this playset
