    Our experience with Keith Zars Pools was a nightmare, plagued by poor communication, scheduling failures, and administrative incompetence.When we had a consultation we explicitly stated we wanted the entire deck replaced and pointed out minor plaster issues. The salesman recommended full replastering, but we later learned the plaster could have been patched, saving us thousands. Other problems: Pricing mistakes The contract was misquoted by $2,000, and they later tried to charge us $1,250 for a drain replacement we never requested. Deck replacement confusion The salesman failed to document our full deck replacement, later trying to charge $5,500 extra. After escalation, it was reduced to $2,000, though they should have covered the cost. Missed deadlines Promised completion in 2 weeks, but the project dragged on for 14 weeks. No proactive communication We had to constantly chase updates, and crews frequently showed up unannounced. Site supervisor was unresponsive unless we tracked him down. Crew members used our property as a restroom despite being offered alternatives. Workers finished pouring concrete in the dark using a cell phone flashlight due to poor scheduling. KZ falsely told the water company our pool was ****** gallons (its ******), despite having the original blueprints. Worse, they rescheduled the water delivery behind our backs without informing us.The constant stress and mismanagement aggravated my military service-related anxiety disorder, causing weight loss, sleep disruption, and two full-blown anxiety attacks.The only professional was the final technician who adjusted the chemistry and ensured the pump worked. If the rest of the project had been handled like this, we wouldnt be leaving a negative review.Terrible project management, dishonest practices, and poor communication. If you value professionalism, fair pricing, and respect for your time, avoid KZ Pools.

    I talked with Mr. ******* on Monday and again today, after going over serial of his issues, I better understood what we at KZP need to improve on. I thanked him for his review. At this time his complaints have been resolved.

    I'm unable to modify my rating but will confirm that Mr. **** and I came to an agreeable resolution for the problem. I would change the rating to 3 stars.

    Dear Better Business Bureau,I am writing to formally submit a complaint against Keith Zars Pools regarding the unsatisfactory service and lack of responsiveness we have experienced as customers. Our initial interactions with Keith Zars Pools were positive during the pool construction phase, with attentive salespeople and a seemingly professional approach. However, our experience has taken a significant downturn since the completion of our pool installation.Service Decline: After the payment and completion of the pool, the level of service provided by Keith Zars Pools has been subpar.Equipment Failures: We have encountered persistent equipment failures, leading to costly repairs and water wastage. A recent incident involving a faulty equipment leak resulted in a $400 increase in our water bill. The response time from Keith Zars Pools in addressing these issues has been inadequate.Non-Functional Pool Lights: Our pool lights have been non-functional for an extended period of approximately four months. Despite multiple attempts to have this issue resolved, we have received no assistance or a clear timeline for the repair.Voiding of Warranty: We have been informed that hiring another service provider to address these issues would void our warranty, leaving us with no recourse for immediate resolution.Resolution Requested:We kindly request your assistance in mediating this matter with Keith Zars Pools to achieve the following outcomes:Timely and effective resolution of the equipment failures, especially the non-functional pool lights, and reimbursement for any water-related expenses incurred due to their faulty equipment.We appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and your assistance in facilitating a resolution with Keith Zars Pools. We believe that your intervention will help us achieve a fair and satisfactory outcome.

    Our service technician went out on 09/27/23 and put new cord in the pool and verified that the lights are working. We spoke to the Customer on 01/09/2024 to confirm to make sure the lights are still working and he said he would check and let our team know if they were not working currently.
