  I have never written a negative review of a business but I just couldnt let this slide. Zero stars is how I would rate them if that were a choice. This company is definitely more interested in profits than providing care to the customer. We were told that we could bring items to the auction storage on a specific date and though the owner was busy he would contact us 2 hours prior to meeting us at the storage facility. We had packed 20 boxes and some furniture. We enlisted a friends assistance and waited eagerly for his call. We were indeed contacted by the owner who stated that he was no longer able to take our auction items for consignment. He explained that he just signed a large auction that would take up all of his storage space. It clearly didnt matter to him that he was leaving an 85 year old man and his wife to figure out what to do with 2 packed vehicles in 103 degree weather!

  We had a terrible experience with *************************** of Caring Transitions with our Estate Sale. Lots of our items were put in black garbage bags and disposed of things we thought were sellable. Then at the end of the sale we received a bill for $611.00 and we had already given him a check for $2000.00 deposit. We feel this was a terrible decision to hire this company. All proceeds of our sale were $7218.08. We received .00. This seems like Elderly Abuse and has been reported.

  Anyone considering turning over their furniture and other items to sell in this company's auction should NOT do so. You will receive pennies on the dollar for your possessions. There are charges for taking the furniture as well as other fees. By the time these are subtracted, you will get very little or nothing. There is NO advertising for the auction. They actually sent us a link to what they said was advertising, and there was literally NO mention of our auction. Supposedly an email is sent to a list. You are given no information about who is on this list. I read reviews of this company in other parts of the country and all gave one star and made the same complaints I am making. The company also provides moving services. Their prices are much higher than the prices of other companies. If they do any packing, it mainly consists of putting plastic wrap around your items. You are charged an exorbitant amount for both the plastic wrap and the time they spend putting it on. This business is horrible. Don't use them because it seems easier to have someone both move your furniture and sell it for you. The auction is a fraud. There are other ways of selling furniture. And other movers will charge you a MUCH lower price. Even one decent sale of one item will result in more money than what you will get for all of your items in their auction. They know you will get next to nothing but don't tell you that, which is dishonest. We netted $16.64 for a table and dining chairs we bought for more than $4000 after all the subtractions were taken into account. The table and chairs were in perfect condition.
