My child joined this Basketball *** team in April 2024. It cost $1,100 I received 50% off due to the school district we were in. I paid $550 out of pocket, I paid the tuition in full. My child participated in the fundraiser and I was told multiple times I would receive a refund if she were to make over the tuition. My child raised $965.I was told I would receive the $550 back that I paid because she make the amount plus some.I was told on emails and text messages I would receive a refund in May of 2024 of what I paid since the tuition will be taken from the fundraiser and any overage would go towards training and equipment. We are now in October and have yet to receive a refund now being told I will not get a refund. So proskills has kept all my money and some.

The situation was handled prior to the customer filing her complaint. Attached are screenshots showing she got refunded $240.00 which was the actual amount owed. Every student athlete in our program had a MINIMUM amount they needed to raise and in the girls' program it was $725.00. This amount was to cover any operational expenses necessary, such as equipment, coaches travel and other miscellaneous operational expenses such as bank service charges, website maintenance, etc. Every parent in the program was told that anything raised over that amount would be credited towards her tuition. Attached is the flier they were given before the fundraiser started & that was also shared with them via email. This person's child raised $965.00 so the overage equaled $240.00. She was sent two emails explaining this and confirming she was receiving her due refund. For some reason she had a misunderstanding she would be credited her full amount which would have resulted in her daughter playing at no cost. We sent an email confirming her refund had been granted & informing her the file had been closed. She then threatened to submit bad reviews & complaints, which was just an impulsive reaction to her not being happy with the amount due to the lack of understanding how the fundraiser worked.

I am rejecting this response because:

Although I did receive $240.00 refund, I was told multiple times thats I would receive $550 refund. It was not a misunderstanding on my end at all that is a bad training to the coaches who gave this information to me and all the other parents on our team. I was assured multiple times  would receive my full amount paid refunded after the fundraiser, if tuition was raised, which my child raised. If anything it is bad training for coaches who are relaying this information to the parents.
