    On 20 April 2023, we paid a deposit of $925 to Precision Windows and Doors for a ProVia custom storm door to be installed on the front door at our home. We were told it was expected to arrive within 4-6 weeks. It is now 27 October 2023 and Precision has failed to perform the services we paid for over 6 months ago. During the intervening months, Precision has told us they received two doors from ProVia, but both were defective; in late August, we were told a third was ordered and should arrive by 12 September. That door has not been received and Precision could not provide a timeline as to when it would arrive. After repeated attempts over the last 6 months to obtain a functioning door and have it installed, and continual attempts to communicate via phone and email with most unreturned, we told Precision on 3 October 2023 that if the door was not installed by 10 October 2023, we wanted a refund. On 9 October, Precision told us the door still hadn't arrived, and we requested a refund. We were told to contact *****, which we did, but we did not receive a response until we sent an email on 12 October asking for a refund. He said he could not refund the money because the work was being performed under warranty. We questioned that since no door had been installed, but further attempts to contact ***** by phone and email went unanswered. On 16 October, we called ********; he asked for 24 hours and said he would contact us but he did not. We tried to contact him several times; he answered once, stating he was at the granite yard and would contact us when he got to his office but again he did not. On 20 October we sent an email to both of them. Finally, on 26 October, we sent a certified letter to both ***** and ********, again requesting our refund and stating we would contact the ***** AG and the ** BBB. We have waited a reasonable amount of time for Precision to fulfill their part of the contract, but no longer trust them to obtain and install a functioning storm door.
