Daughter moved into The Reserve SA 8/19/23. Apartment was filthy. A/c unit not working, water heater not working. Have attempted to have maint. resolve the no hot water issue for the entire first week of move in. Has been difficult to get ahold of maint. When he does show up the issue is still not resolved he keeps trying temporary fixes and promises to come back the next day and never follows through. Have also let management know of several other issues such as roaches, and no safety latch on the sliding door. Nothing has been resolved

On 8/18/22, we were supposed to move our daughter and her 2 roommates into The Reserve Apartments. When we entered the unit (******) we immediately smelled mold. We went into our daughters room (A) noticed water damage or mold that had been painted over in her bathroom. Another parent opened the utility closed located behind the front door and noticed an excessive amount of black mold on the floors, walls and ceiling. We began looking throughout the unit, and located mold in the dishwasher, under the kitchen sink and in other rooms in the unit. We immediately found an employee, and asked to speak to the manager. We were introduced to ***********************, Regional Manager for the parent company ************, and a man named *****, who ******* said was going to be the new General Manager, as they were doing a "u haul" of their entire staff. They came back to our unit and saw the mold and agreed that it was unacceptable and were going to go back to the office to find another unit for the 3 girls. ***** came back and said that they were still working on it, and said we could go get lunch and they would contact us. ******* called and said that they had unit ***** available and asked us to meet her there. We entered the unit, it was very dirty, and ******* stated that they would replace all the flooring, repaint and use the gray color of the model and replace the baseboards. After inspecting, it too had mold in the bathrooms, so we told her that was not an option. After a discussion, we all came to an agreement to hire a 3rd party contractor to handle the mold in ******, they would replace the floor, furniture, repaint, and replace appliances, and cover an Airbnb for the girls until the work was complete. We left to find an Airbnb and while gone, one parent got a call from ***** stating we had all been released from our leases and we could not return to the property. He stated it came from ********* boss and owners rep. *** our girls are homeless and school starts on 8/22/22.
