    Complaint Regarding Texas Storm Shelter Guy (***** Gallup)Installation Date: September 5, 2024 Amount Paid: $8,750 (including $1,000 for jackhammering rock)I hired Texas Storm Shelter Guy (***** Gallup) to install a storm shelter on my property. In April 2025, I discovered it had flooded, destroying emergency supplies. I brought in a professional excavation crew who used a laser to confirm the shelter had been installed too low with improper grading.When I informed Mr. *********************** he initially deflected blamequestioning the crews tools and suggesting I might have altered the ground. He came to inspect it on April 14, admitted it was installed incorrectly, and said he would fix it.I made multiple attempts to get him back out, but he kept making excuses about the weather, even though there were several clear days available. Between April 14 and April 30, the shelter flooded again, and I had to pump it out two more timesfive times total.On June 9, after sheltering elsewhere with my one-year-old daughter during a storm, I texted him that I would hire someone else and send him the bill. He showed up the next day and reinstalled it.After the work was done, he called to say he would not warranty the reinstall, citing non-ideal conditions and continued to blame the situation. He also said I had not given him the two-week dry window he neededdespite having over two months to act.This was not just about the installation failure, but about how I was treateddismissed, blamed, and ignored when my family needed support. I was left managing repeated flooding and trying to protect my family with no real help from the contractor I ******** submitting this to caution other consumers. I do not recommend this company to anyone expecting professionalism, accountability, or reliable customer service.
