  Texoma Roofing put a roof on our home a year ago and it still leaks. They have been back out here 6 times with caulking and it is not fixed yet. They caulked around the roof and called it fixed every time they came out. There is a balcony on our roof that the owner saw when he bid the job. He claims he inherited a problem with this balcony. His crew took this balcony completely off the house, put a board against the house and put the balcony back on. They did not use any flashing and this made the roof leak worse. They used rusted nails that they had straightened to reattach the balcony. We had an inspector come out and look at the house and he told us the vents were not installed correctly there is no flashing around them, the balcony has a 2 inch gap between the house and balcony with no flashing that is causing water to run down to the patio cover they replaced causing it to leak as well; he also confirmed there were no drip rails put up on the edge of the roof. We saw the drip rails delivered but also saw the crew load them up and take it with them. The guttering we had looked nice, but his crews put their ladders against them scratching and denting it. To repair them, the guy came with a can of spray paint that didn't match and sprayed in spots doing nothing about the dents in the guttering. It looks awful. I have pictures of everything they did while they were doing the repairs. We think they need to pay another roofer to fix their mess and stop the leaks or come with the owner and fix this roof. There are other things wrong too, but I don't have enough room to write about all they did. As I have said, I do have pictures to prove this. We do not recommend this company. The owner wrote no leaks for 10 years on the contract. We have leaks and they have not fixed them. He offered to fix the balcony only if we paid them, but they took the balcony off, and they made the leaks worse! We paid for a job we did not get.

  The roof leaks that the customer has are actually not from the roof. They are from the balcony that leaked before we put the roof on and it leaks in the same spot due to a initial bad install from the original contractor. All we did to the balcony was replace the wood. But the balcony install was never flashed correctly and the French doors above it are letting the water in. The customer wants us to rebuild the balcony correctly but at our cost. They know that the water coming in is due to this because of the wet carpet inside the room which is above the roof line. I would be more than willing to meet their inspector at any time to come to a conclusion if this is a roof leak or a bad install of a balcony on a side of the house that was not flashed correctly. She has my number and we are not running from our leak. Just in the particular case. We conclude it's not a roof issue.

  The balcony has been on this house for over 30 years and no previous owner had the problems we are having. You neglected to acknowledge that your crew took the balcony completely down, added a board on the side of the house and then put the balcony back on using rusted nails. I have pictures as I have stated. His crew taking down the balcony did not reinstall the balcony correctly and caused this to enhance the leaking. Apparently, they don't want to admit it is their fault the leak is worse. Your crew took the balcony completely down they did not just replace the wood! The French Doors have never been a problem for anyone living here. The carpet was never wet until his crew messed up the balcony install. He can deny all he wants but we both know the truth. You have our number as well and you are the contractor that did not do the job correctly. If you would supervise your crew, you might know what was going on. Your painters also did not paint above the kitchen windows either. They taped it off and then forgot about it. I will show our roof and the pictures to anyone that wants to see them. We conclude it's a contractor issue. Your crew did the damage with their make-shift reinstall of the balcony.

  The balcony was not completely taken down. The frame stayed exactly where it was and we replaced the wood on it only. I called my project supervisor ****** to verify. The leak is from the original install and you know this because you told us it leaked. Also the balcony is below the carpet. Meaning the doors are leaking as well and I will meet your inspector again to verify what I'm trying to explain !!

  Amazing to us that ******* who only stayed about 10 minutes, knows exactly what was going on. Not one of your supervisors stayed more than 10 minutes at any point in time on this project. This is the way you run your company with little to no supervisors expecting your roofers to do a proper job. We have pictures as I have stated, and we have no problem showing these pictures of the poor quality of work your crews did on our roof. The lack of drip rails on the edge of the roof that your crew left with (the drip rails still bundled up), among other items, shows a problem. Straightening rusted nails that were brought by your crew to redo the wood instead of using the screws that were bought to put this all back together. I have pictures of them straightening the nails and then hammering them in. Damaging our gutters and then only spot painting it. There were places that no felt was put down and the shingles where just nailed down to the roof and we have pictures of that. We will get the roof fixed that you did not do, we think because your crew did not know how to fix it. The balcony was there when you bid the job and you knew it. You stated no leaks for 10 years and that is a lie. That's how you run your business and so be it. We will just go about showing our pictures and telling our stories of this roof and what all you did and did not do.

  Again. This leak is not due to the roof. It is coming from the patio. That was installed incorrectly by the original builder. I will meet your inspector to prove this whenever you would like to have us both out.
