    I purchased a new home eight months ago and, as part of the builder's offer, I secured a home warranty with Aces Builders Warranty. After closing, the title company's check was cashed, but Aces Builders Warranty denied my initial service request because the builder hadn't signed the warranty paperwork. While I suspect this may have been deliberate, I can't confirm that.
    When I pursued my warranty claim, they informed that because they lacked both a signed copy from the builder and a copy of my signed agreement they would have to deny my claim despite receiving payment for services. They should have had a copy of my signed agreement from the closing documents, but they lost that, so I provided them with a copy of my signed agreement via email, but they misplaced that one too and required another copy a month later.
    Due to the lack of service, I requested a refund from ***** ****** and after some email exchanges between the warranty company and Texas Title, the legal representative at ***** ***** found the situation concerning and suggested I contact the Attorney General's office.
    Interestingly, after contacting the ******** ******* was mentioned, Aces Builders Warranty was finally able to reach the builder and obtain their signature on their copy of the warranty. However, despite this development, my warranty claim remains unaddressed and my funds have not been returned.
    I've filed complaints with both the ***** ******** ********* ****** and the ***** ********** ** ********* *** **********.
