    The original alarm company (Alarm ************************************* that I entered into a contract with on January, 1996, was sold to another security company (Summit Fire and Security Building) in 2024. After 31 years with the former company and three costly equipment updates and upgrades to repair a faulty system, I chose not to enter into a contract with the latter company because the alarm system continued to malfunction. Even though I did not use the equipment, I made the monthly payments to the former company until July, 2024, not reneging on the monthly charge. Summit was never authorized to monitor my house; yet, the company continued to charge me for a service I did not want nor did I receive. I have sent in the required cancellation forms to disconnect service; however, I am being charged for August, September, October, November, December, and January ($194.88) for nonexistent services. The house alarm system does not work, and I do not want it. The Summit monthly statement reads: THIS IS NOT AN INVOICE and NON-CONTRACT TOTALS. I have attempted to communicate with Summit, but the dispute has not been resolved. I am retired and on a very fixed income. I need this harassment to stop. I would appreciate immediate resolution.I have had the company technicians unsuccessfully attempt to correct the problems at these expenses: July 29, 2015 $453.56 July 7, 2016 $419.00 January 17, 2022 $364.75
