Bought a 2020 **** eco sport, and added the apex protection plan. My engine broke down after almost 3years, and its been a nightmare trying to get Apex to cover anything. They are making the mechanic tear apart specific parts of the engine then an adjuster/inspector comes and looks at it three days later. Ive had my car in the shop for almost 2 months. Instead of just replacing the engine they have the Mechanic tear it apart again and send out the adjuster again. The engine wont run and they are doing everything to avoid paying for it. Do not buy, its a waste of money.

We bought a ******* Santa Fe in November of 20. In May of 23 the motor spun a rod bearing. When we bought the vehicle, we purchased the apex pro plan, which is supposed to cover an issue like this one. We brought the vehicle into the local ******* dealership for repair. We were told a few days later, Apex requires an inspection and we would be on the hook for that bill, which would be $500. I gave approval, and paid the dealership to do a teardown. No big deal, because it is in the contract. After the teardown, the dealership calls to inform us Apex now wants all service records of every oil change. Fine. We provided all but 3 service records, because there were times it was more convenient to do it myself than wait until the following week to get it into the dealership. Apparently I should've kept every single receipt because all of a sudden Apex wants to leave me on the hook for this repair. They even refused to come out and inspect the vehicle over THREE missing service receipts over the ****** miles we have put on this vehicle. Apex, listen very closely... I WILL BE TAKING LEGAL ACTION and I will go after every single ***** you have cost me and anything extra I can squeeze out of you for this inconvenience. I will be talking to an attorney to also see what the chances of bringing forth a class action lawsuit are.

I have had my vehicle for a little over a year now and just now started having a ton of problems. The dealership I took it to let me know of an oil leak that is going on but that APEX won't cover it because its not "bad enough" yet. My catalytic converter is cracked and again, they won't cover it. I do not know what the point of paying for extended warranty is when things go wrong with your vehicle and they won't cover anything. They did cover my seat needing to be fixed BUT won't cover all of the labor so I'm out another $78 on top of my $100 deductible. Would not recommend this company to ANYONE!!!

I wish I could take away stars. We have had this vehicle 3 months and the timing chain cover was leaking which they paid for. Now 3 weeks later we find out it has a blown head gasket and we are STATES away from home and they will only cover the head gasket, not the damages also caused by this gasket. Told me NOTHING when I called besides "that's what our plan covers". So please tell me what's the point in buying your warranty????? If it isn't going to be able to be used when we need to. I am disgusted and disappointed.

Dealership sold our daughter a very expensive Apex warranty. We were told the coverage was bumper to bumper and would cover everything for 60 months or ****** miles. She is 3 months away from warranty expiring and now needs several expensive repairs. Apex informed her NONE of the items are covered. So she is out the thousands she paid for the warranty and has to pay for all the repairs. Only a few things are actually covered in this fake bumper to bumper warranty. Dont ever buy one of these they are liars and cover nothing.

Well now I see how this company operates. It's all a scam. I purchased my extended warranty through the Dealership which claims that this was the best warranty they offered but as soon as I needed to use it, they try to find a way not to pay. I kept up with all of my maintenance and repairs at the Dealership, and now they are trying to deny paying for a costly repair. Well I'm not going to sit down and let them get over on me. I will do whatever it takes to get treated fairly. They had no problem with taking my money so now it's an issue when I need to use the plan. If they don't get it together. I will be seeking legal matters. I will take this negative review down if they do what's right or I will make it my mission to inform many others.

I purchased an extended warranty for windshield repairs upon purchase of my vehicle through Apex protection plans ($795 plan). Since purchasing there have been two instances where I needed to utilize the protection plan for windshield replacement. Every time the company has some reason why I cannot get reimbursed. The business is not open on Saturdays and requires the company doing the repair to call them prior with photos of windshield damage, odometer reading and VIN. Well, if you are not off weekdays and can only do the repair on Saturdays you are screwed. Also, there is no place in ********* that will call prior as they claim they are too busy therefore trying to find anyone to work with Apex is virtually impossible. This protection plan is a complete waste of Money. Not to mention all they cover is $100 toward replacement. My windshield costs $1300. COMPELTE SCAM DO NOT BUY

I am a traveling nurse and had a flat in an area that I was not familiar with. It was 100 degrees outside and I was unable to change the flat myself, I called Apex and spoke with a representative. He was one of the rudest individuals I have ever experienced. He stated that he would "try to have someone come and change the tire." I asked him how long it would take? He stated that, "because I was in a rural area, there was no guarantee anyone would come." I asked him if he would call me back and let me know if a repair service was coming and he stated, "Ill try, but we are very busy." I asked to speak to a manager and he hung up. Noone ever came and I I purchased a platinum plan and I feel that I was truly a victim of fraud! I just cannot believe a company can treat their customers this way and still do business. I'm cannot imagine treating another human being this way. I will NEVER purchase anything again from this company. I am just so glad that this experience did not occur with my daughter or spouse driving.
