    Advan-Tech Door Services in ********, ***** came and worked on my residential garage. My appointment was scheduled at 9:00 AM. When no one showed up by 9:23, I texted the business to see if anyone was coming but did not get an answer. Therefore, I placed a phone call to them and received an excuse why they were running behind. Two men showed up and worked on the garage 2 hours after my scheduled appointment. A part went out on the garage door opener while they were testing. They had to go back to the office for the part. They must have taken lunch while I was waiting for them to return because they came back 1 1/2 hours later. When the job was completed, I was provided with the amount due for labor and parts. However, they ran out of invoices in the truck and promised to put one in my mailbox the same day that evening. I trusted their word and wrote a check for the amount verbally quoted. An invoice is important to see what I had paid for and for the 30-day warranty they offer on their work. I called after 4 days of not receiving an invoice and was informed that I would have an invoice by the end of the day. Two days later I am texting the business after not receiving an invoice. A text response was received with an apology that they got busy, and they would do it that same day. Still no invoice after 2 weeks after my scheduled appointment. So, I texted again and never received a response. Now it has been 1 month, and I have never received my paid invoice for the job that was completed on my garage door and opener. I feel taken advantage of because I trusted them at their word.
