      Need to know what invoice was charged sales tax.  According to our records all invoices for the ************ had no sales tax charged - therefore there could be no refund.  We are unaware of any refunds needed.

      After I made further inquires from other employees it was determined the invoice that *************************** is referring to is an invoice for a water heater #****-099972 for $432.99 for a water heater cost of $399.99 and Sales Tax charged $33.00 this was a cash invoice but; *************************************** with *************  wanted us to refund the sales tax because he said the water heater should have been invoiced to his Agricultural Exemption # and would therefore be tax exempt.

       

      I called the ***** ******************* ************** and talked to ****** and asked her if there was any instance that a water heater could be exempt she said not as an Agricultural Exemption. 

       

      She also stated, A water heater is only exempt if purchased for resale and the customer purchasing the water heater has provided us with a Resale Certificate.

       

      Therefore, because this was not an exempt item for Agricultural Use, we will not be refunding the sales tax ($33.00) to ***************************************.
