    September 3rd 2022 I enrolled my autistic son at this school. I wasn't able to tour the school until the day before the semester started. I had a bad feeling, but the teacher reassured me everything would be great. The teacher was very rude and the class room is a disgusting mess. My son is allergic to mosquitoes. The place was infested, He came home with so many bites and scabs all over his legs, not to mention the cockroaches. His therapIst that attended the school with him gave feedback daily about how horrible this place is, and was not a good fit. Not to mention a few other horrible details, I immediately asked to unenroll him and for a prorated refund. His BCBA wrote a letter/supporting documentation the school was not a good fit. The teacher/owner was then unresponsive when I asked for my money back. I have filed a small claims petition. I am seeking the $5300 back she stole from me and for the distress she put my family under.

    The school has operated for 17 years without these complaints in the past. Many students stay five to eight years. The yard is sprayed monthly for mosquitoes by a professional company. By definition of the word "stole", I did not. I was handed a check after a tour and visit of the school and many conversations by phone prior. I held the check five days before cashing. The student took the last spot in the school. The parent was VERY aware of the no refund policy. We are a small school. Many parents have supported that they always knew, every year, there was no refund. No therapist ever told me anything negative, only positive comments. I invited the parent three times to come talk to me about this and she would not.
