    The Bio Dude sent me a broken bulb, and even after sending a video proving the bulb was defective, I was refused a refund. Instead of showing any integrity or accountability, the Bio Dude refused to give me a refund, and decided to blame my perfectly fine Arcadia fixture instead — not the obviously messed up bulb they sent me. I was charged 20 dollars in shipping and yet my order was packed with zero care by this crooked company. Every bulb I have ordered online from other companies all have been shipped with styrofoam wrapped around it. This cheap company will charge you expensive shipping and then turn around and pack the order like a preschooler did it. BUYER BEWARE!

    We understand your concerns regarding the UVB bulb you received. When you reported the issue, we requested a video to better understand the problem, as we do with all our customers. We received your video after six days, and upon review, we noticed significant movement of the bulb within the fixture after it was turned into place, which is not typical for a fluorescent fixture.
    We responded by asking if you had another fixture to test the bulb in. You mentioned that the old bulb worked in the current fixture and offered to send another video. We thanked you and reiterated that the video was necessary for our claim process.
    Subsequently, we received a message from you expressing frustration and mentioning issues with our service and packaging for the first time.
    We responded to gather more information about the packaging and apologized for any frustration you experienced. We also explained that the videos are required by the manufacturer. However, we did not receive a reply before you posted your BBB review. Please note that we never refused a refund or replacement. We were and still are committed to resolving this issue with you.

    Definitely appreciate the customer service this place gave. Really went above and beyond. Might also add the helpful YouTube videos they have helps a lot with learning how to set things up correctly step by step. Very happy with this place. Will be delighted to get future products from them. Thank you team & josh!

    On multiple occasions, the team at The Biodude has taken time to answer my questions about bioactive and plants via phone or email. There are so many tiny details I have struggled to find answers to on my own so I really appreciate it. Last month, an employee went over each plant I had chosen for my ball python and gave advice on whether each would be a good fit.

    Got a bioactive starter kit but held off setting up tank. Waited just a bit over their ridiculous 7 day return policy and they won't take back the unopened extra bags I have left. Have a 16x16x24 tank so didn't wanna fall short with 12x12 kit so did 18x18. Have 3 unopened bags and won't even give credit. Taking the rest of my business to ****** *****. Wish I started there to begin with. No one only gives 7 days to return things. Bad business.

    I've ordered two kits from them thus far, and it's always like Christmas when they arrive. Deliveries are always quick, and the quality of goods is really nice. The best part has been seeing my Fat Tail go crazy with burrowing, so I know she approves as well. :)
