I built a barndominium using ***************** who contracted with Texhoma *********** to install garage doors. I was given two openers and promised the third. ******** admitted she owed me the third opener, and she told me it would be delivered by an installer. Also, installers left a hole in the ceiling of my garage when installing. They were in the attic and stepped through the sheetrock.. I was told by ******** to get an estimate for repair which she approved, $250. That person sent the bill months ago and I just found out Texhoma *********** never paid him. I have called ******** and left messages nearly 100 times. On several occasions, she answered and told me she would call me back within the hour but nothing. I have tried to go to their place of business five times and the gate is always locked up. Why is it so hard to provide good customer service???? I need the third garage door opener and I need to be reimbursed for $250 as, once I knew the man had not been paid, I paid him. He went without his money since last April!

** 2023, Texhoma *********** installed garage door openers at my home. At one point, their worker stepped through the ceiling of my ********** was told by ******** of Texhoma Door and Gate to seek an estimate to have the sheetrock repaired which I did. The estimate was $250 and ******** advised me to get the repair completed and have the invoice submitted to them for payment. The sheet rock repair person completed the work (approximately April 2023) and submitted the bill to Texhoma Door and Gate for payment but was never paid. He made repeated attempts to call, text, and visit Texhoma Door and Gate about their failure to pay. I found out in December 2023 that he had never been paid for his services by Texhoma Door and Gate and I paid him myself. I was shocked that he had not been paid. When I called, ******** told me she had paid ***** and promised to send me documentation substantiating the payment. I later talked with owner **** who told me he would look into the matter and send me the documentation. I have never received any documentation that Texhoma Door and Gate paid ***************************. If they did, I want the documentation and will take this up with ***************************. If they did not, they owe me $250 for the sheet rock repair. Thank you.

I have now received the garage door opener cited as missing when the complaint was filed. However, Texhoma Door and Gate promised to send documentation about the payment they made to *************************** ($250 for repair of sheet rock damaged by workers from Texhoma Door and Gate). ***** insists he has never been paid. I paid him $250 when I discovered that Texhoma Door and Gate had never paid him. They need to submit documentation to me that they made this payment OR refund me $250.

    Business Response

Doors had 13 week lead time
    ********************* was not our customer

February 11 2021 was install date. We have not been to this job location in the year 2023
February 11 2021 we Programmed 3 remotes off the generator during installation and left them at the walk through door
Oct 7th 21 ******************* through ceiling PROGRAMMING REMOTES
Oct 14th of 21, the back door wasn't working. ***** ADDED 2 remotes

December 30th of 21 ****** went back because the painters pulled the manual release on the motor. This was not a warranty or recall. I will need to make an invoice for the service call. That will be for $125

November 10th of 22 ***** filed complaint with the BBB

December 19th of 22 ****** and I (****) went back another day and PROGRAMMED 3 MORE REMOTES

That makes a total of 8 remotes. These commercial door operators do not come with any remotes in the box. Our invoice to OUR actual customer (the contractor - ****************) did not say anything about any remotes being included with the door operators. However, I will go ahead and include 3 of these 8 remotes with the original install order because there are 3 door operators. So that leaves a service call at $125 plus 5 remotes at $45 each for a total of $350. If I had any of her information (again, she is not our customer) then I would send her an invoice right now for $350 minus the sheet rock repair (which we would never have had to get on top of the ceiling if we hadn't had to program more remotes, and that I never received an invoice for from the drywall comapny) of $250. So according to my notes, ********************* owes Texhoma door and Gate $100

Furthermore, my previous office lady that sold the doors to the contractor charged our cost for the operators ($475). These operators should have had an installation charge of atleast $200 each. We normally charge $750 for these operators installed (Liftmaster model 8900)

That would bring the total that ********************* owes Texhoma Door and Gate to $700

Thanks, ************** - Owner - Texhoma Door and Gate
