    2k Home Design (Brier K**** and Tanner W*******) bid a job to renovate a back room and bathroom in our home in spring of 2022. They quoted us a price and stated they would have a licensed plumber to plumbing. They proceeded with demoing walls, moving plumbing and doing tile work for a shower. When completed, they were paid in full. Upon inspection after completion, the tiles on shower started falling off wall. The plumbing was destroyed beyond repair and Brier and Tanner (not licensed) did the extensive job themselves instead of hiring out the a plumber. Nothing in the project was done correctly and they were dishonest about the work they said they did and charged me for which was discovered after having to tear out the walls.

    We hired Brier for a floor to ceiling remodel. We were asked (per the contract) to pay 40% of the total cost up front, which would cover materials (we thought). Per the contract this would include: shower build out, new vanity + counter top, new bath tub & flooring, and fresh paint throughout.

    The bathtub we received is cheap & not what we picked out. He left the shower incomplete and has never produced glass (we are having to pay $2,500 for a custom piece). He repainted our old cabinets to look like the new cabinets he had us pick out (and told us he had-he lied). The plumbing has leaked and we have had to pay close to $500 to repair. The countertop installed was not cut out for our cabinet and the sinks are off center.

    The biggest issue/true complaint is that he asked us to pay his employee for him (on top of our 40% down) $1800 and also asked for $2,500 to help pay a personal bill but promised to complete the project for that amount. As soon as we did, he has not returned. We have received multiple excuses & even texts saying he was on the way but he has not shown back up in 7 weeks.

    We know the 40% is a loss, but we are seeking reimbursement of the additional payments + costs we've spent on damages.

    Original Estimate: $13,80
    $5,520 (40% down)
    $1,800 (To his employee )
    $ 2,500 (Direct to Brier)
    $446 (for damages)

    I am uploading the original quote, signed contract, and multiple text messages that show him asking for money & confirming ordering shower glass. Also a timeline we were given for the work.
