    I found this facility for my wife. They initially had open communication and were very eager to get her admitted. I am involved with payment of care. Towards the end of her stay my wife told me she would like to extend for an additional week. I called Cypress Lake Recovery to find out what I would be paying out of pocket for this since I am the sole provider for our family and as previously stated I am involved with payment of care. My debit card attached to solely my bank account is the one my wife put on file. I did not want protected healthcare information from them. I simply wanted to know what my out of pocket expense would be. They repeatedly stated we can neither confirm or deny that patient is here. I spoke to a lady who said this then hung up on me. I spoke to ********************* the Director of admissions. He repeated this statement instead of having the decency to listen to my request. Which was infuriating and made me feel helpless during an already stressful enough situation. I still do not know what my out of pocket expense is going to be and I refuse to pay for something if I do not know the cost upfront. This occurred 2/13/2024.
