      I started to rebuild my car a 1995 nissan altima in 2022. I had master muffler which is now master auto tech tell me I need a motor which I purchased after the 3rd motor and a extra $800 they finally found one. During the work they were doing said my transmission was not good I told them it was fine when I brought it in so they found one and put it in ever since I have had my car towed I would say a minimum of 20 plus times in 2 years for them to fix the axle seal on the transmission which was attempted 6 times with no luck now they can't find a replacement and want me to pay out of pocket for one. This shop is a nightmare for customer service I can't even get a return call from the owner. I have not even been able to drive it for a week without going back to the shop.

      Concerning the repair history for Brady King and his 1995 Nissan Altima:

      On 9/17/2022 Master Auto Tech replaced Brady Kings motor with a "used" motor, which he paid for.  Motor turned out to be faulty. We replaced it at N/C.  We replaced the transmission at No Charge and a Clutch Kit no Charge because there was a question mark if the replacement engine had caused damage to the transmission.

      Brady later up-graded to another used  motor with fewer miles approximately 1 year later which he paid only the difference for the up-grade, we gave him full credit for the original motor and charged no labor to install.

      Over the course of 9850 miles and 2 years driven and numerous other repairs, many at Brady's expense and many, many thousands of dollars of free labor and parts on our behalf,  the crux of the complaint seems to be a transmission that began to give Brady trouble about 1000 miles after the original motor was replaced.  

      Master Auto Tech is not willing to refund $7,000 dollars to Brady as we feel we have provided valuable repairs and have gone above and beyond to stand behind those repairs, even though used parts cannot be warrantied beyond any warranty the supplier provides.

      As stated earlier, the transmission seems to be a point of concern.  Master Auto Tech would still offer this remedy:  We would install a customer supplied transmission at no charge for labor.

      Justin King. The clutch was also under warranty when replaced. My transmission was fine before it was replaced by master auto tech it wasn't working after replacing it and it supposed to be under warranty it isn't my problem they can't find a replacement they put in a faulty one.

      I took my car in to have the front struts replaced. While waiting I mentioned to the person running the desk (***) about the need to have my center caps installed correctly so the wouldn't come off. Within a month of service I lost the right front center cap. I called to see what they were going to do in replacing my center cap. After talking with ******, they don't want to replace the missing center cap. I told them I had been driving for several years without any problems with center caps coming off and after they worked on my car I lost one of the center caps within a month after they had to remove and reinstall them. I also told them the only place to get a replacement cap was through a dealer. I feel as if I have done everything I could to make sure the caps were installed correctly so this wouldn't happen. Since it did happen they are responsible for replacing the missing cap they should not have any qualms about replacing it. This job was supposedly going to take 3.5 - 4 hours to complete and it was done within 3 hours. Customers should not have to pay the consequences for their employees actions. This is not the first time I've had concerns after they have performed work on my car.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      ****** has agreed to replace the "center cap" not hubcap. I went to the ************ location yesterday and they had ordered the wrong center cap. ****** did order the correct

      center cap and from what ****** told me it should be ready next week. I will not close this complaint until the new center cap is in place.
