Not sure what's worse, the reliability of their products or the quality of their customer service. My Sherpa 100 pd, stopped holding a charge after a few months. so I contacted customer service. After confirming that the item was eligible for a replacement, they asked me to provide my address. I responded with my address, and then nothing. Followed up a week later, and crickets...... Followed up again, and finally got a response. They told me that they were moving warehouses, and wouldn't be able to handle my warranty replacement until it was completed. No date was provided. Neither was a general time frame given. I was just told to wait......

Bought a Yeti 400 right after Hurricane ******. It worked great for 2 months. Then one day I came home from work and it was a brick. I contacted customer service. They said the battery voltage is too low to charge. How is that even possible. Anyway they sent me a 600 watt power supply ti attempt to jump start the battery. That failed. It's been plugged in for 2 days and has done absolutely nothing. It's still a brick. At this point I know I can't trust it for what I got it for. I also bought over 1k of solar panels from GZ for my Yeti. That was a waste of money. At this point I just want my money. This junk is useless to me or anyone else. That will never happen. SO IVE BEEN LEGALLY RIPPED OFF. I hope others can see this and save their money and headache.

It can be frustrating to receive a product that is not working correctly, and in reviewing this case we have found that troubleshooting with our support team was done, including sending the customer the 600W alternative power supply to try and address the problem. This item has a 5 year warranty, so when the alternative power supply did not fix the problem a return for this item was created for the customer. It isn't an instant process, since a lithium battery this large needs to be returned with authorized hazmat packaging that must be shipped out to the customer. The situation is being resolved, as we do with all warranty issues.

Purchased a 200x for emergencies. Had for over two years and never used it. When tested it would not hold a charge. Tech support was barely interested in assisting me. Two calls to tech support and it was unrepairable. I had it over two years , couldn't find a receipt. It doesn't qualify for warranty which ends after two years anyway. I offered to pay for repairs vs tossing it in the trash. They declined to assist. The other accessories that I bought with it are possibly garbage as well.

Similar to your car battery, these units do need to be maintained and charged periodically to avoid damage to the battery. Unfortunately leaving the unit unused for over two years will cause irreparable damage to the battery. You are beyond the 2 year warranty, but even if you were not, this failure is unfortunately not a manufacturers defect. On these smaller and no longer in production units, the battery replacements end up costing more than a new unit of equivalent capability. Because of this we don't stock the batteries for repair. If you want to call us back and ask for a supervisor, we could work out a discount on an open box unit to replace your current unusable unit. ************
