      June 28th Afternoon $36 for just emissions The business said they would perform a emissions check on my vehicle to see if it would pass emissions so that I may re-new my vehicle state tags. 1 of the Managers at the emissions place didn't conduct an emissions test. Instead he made claims that my car had illegal catalytic converters (High Flow Cats) on my vehicle and he will not be wanting to risk his permit by testing my vehicle to see if it would pass or not. He claimed also claimed that I was trying to extort using an employee to pass my car illegally. As I went there to just get my car to just get my emissions completed. He failed me without even testing or plugging in the vehicle. He marked on the emissions machine that I didn't have catalytic converters so that I would have an immediate fail. They did not make any further attempt to resolve the issue and said they will not ever conduct an emissions test on my car until I replace my catalytic converters. I went to 3 other shops to have my entire exhaust inspected and was give the go ahead to wait for the 2 weeks requirement until I am able to do a retest. On the date August 16th I had a my emissions tested. the verdict was my vehicle passed the required EPA emissions requirement without issues. The vehicle catalytic converters are currently OE standard and not OEM do the the manufacturer discontinuing them do to the age of the vehicle. the OE catalytic Converters on not abnormal in any way and I have receipt and photo copy of them with identifiers that identify that the catalytic converters are not home made or DIY, but are only made but a trusted distributer.
