  Agree with everything that has been said in the two posts below. We came to Mark Kohler for tax advise and then had their accounting firm handle our corporate and personal tax returns (we own our own company). Total bait and switch. Our tax preparer left the company at the beginning of the tax season and it took about a month to get anyone to assign us with a new person, who had just received his CPA license. We were then finally referred to a more experienced CPA. We had a wonderful onboarding call and agreed to get our taxes completed in late July/early August. Backa and forth emails and then suddenly he stopped responding. No "out of office" message for departed CPAs so we didn't understand why our point-of-contact did not respond. Finally got someone on the phone, who again was a pretty young and inexperienced person. He promised to get us our personal tax returns well before the deadline, as I explained that we were going to be traveling the week before they were due and couldn't easily review them. Still the return came to us on the Saturday or Sunday before it was due (PAY THE **** so we can file your returns). Have no idea if they were accurate. So unprofessional. We are going back to our old person, who answers the phone when you call. But beware, they are changing their name to THREE PEAKS ADVISORS, LLC. It would be helpful if BBB made sure folks knew this so these reviews can continue to warn people.

  I rarely pen negative reviews, but my experience with Ke-CPAs demands that I share the reality, hoping to help someone else avoid the pitfalls I faced.Misleading Rates First, let's talk about the retainer fee. They'll ask you to sign it under the pretext of an "expected rate" which is anything but truthful. This retainer is non-refundable; translation: kiss $500 goodbye per return type. $1,000 for biz and personal False ******************* Issues I was initially convinced to sign on by an accountant who promised a one-week, blitz-focused approach to getting my paperwork in order in March. Not long after collecting my retainer fee, they hit me with a new ratenearly $2,000 over what was initially discussed. Making matters worse, the accountant who "sold" me on their services left the firm shortly after.Musical Chairs but with Accountants Since then, I've been passed around to different accountants like a hot potato. Each subsequent professional treated me with what I'd generously describe as a level 3 customer service on a scale of ***************** and Generic Communication When reaching out for updates or clarifications, expect a template-generated response that dodges your questions and never acknowledges their failings in customer service.In Summary Ke-CPAs presents themselves as internet content creator-friendly CPAs. Don't be fooled. They are merely snake oil salesmen with little understanding of your specific business needs or personal financial situation. The revolving door of accountants in my experience alone speaks volumes about their operations.To anyone considering working with Ke-CPAs: exercise extreme caution. Better yet, steer clear and save yourself the disappointment and financial drain.Remember, the cost of poor accounting services is far more than just the fee you pay; it can have long-lasting repercussions on your financial well-being. Choose wisely.

  STAY AWAY!!! Weve been with this company for 3 years. The last year we had an horrible experience. We uploaded all documents in the timeline requested and payed the enrollment fee. For my surprise they didnt know about our taxes and in the last minute changed the person whos filing our taxes. A person without a lot experience. I asked to change and switch to the previously person, but they refused. Of course nobody likes to pay for a service and have to deal with someone that didnt match. Because my complaint as a client to one of the owners *********************, this year, they sent the enrollment letter, we paid, and in the last minute we received a phone call that they didnt want us as a client anymore. So, they made the mistake, this person is even working in the company anymore, and they think theyre correct? Its hard when you cant offer the service with quality and you put the fault on your clients a** and dont want us as a client because you dont recognize your own MISTAKES!!!
