I bought a truck from Bradshaw Chevrolet in December of last year I put $6000 down on the truck and signed a contract for 23,003 days after having the trip it saying low oil pressure so I took the truck back. They said that it wasn’t throwing no codes, but there was a check engine light on but they said the truck was fine. I continue to drive the truck to work about five days into it. The truck started making a noise. So I took it back down there. They were supposed to change the oil and check all the electrical when I got the truck back. I took the truck to Walmart. Do you have the oil change and Walmart confirmed that they never change my oil or check my electrical when I bought the truck I bought it extended warranty but it covered everything but the motor so I took the truck back down to them, but they said they did not have the tools totake it apart to find out what was wrong with it so I continue to drive the truck because I had to get to work in about weeks into the truck seized up which caused me to lose my job

On January 11, 2025, my car suddenly lost power on my way home from work. It was still drivable, but only up to 20 mph. On February 4, I brought it to Bradshaw Automotive for diagnosis. They said the turbocharger, catalytic converter, and oil needed replacing. I agreed to the repairs, even though catalytic converters were on national backorder—and my car, only made for two years, made finding parts harder. After about a month, they found the converter and completed the turbo and converter replacement. They hadn’t done the oil change yet, but said I could take the car and bring it back the next day. We paid roughly $5,700, and I drove off. It ran perfectly—until about 30 minutes into my drive when it lost power again on my way to work. I had it towed back to Bradshaw paying $350 to get it back there. They told me the turbo failed again and the oil was in bad condition. They planned to do another turbo replacement and a full engine flush—running the car at high RPMs with a cleaner, repeated three times. Then we got a call: the engine had seized. When we visited, they said the flush hadn’t been done yet. But the head mechanic also claimed they had added the cleaner to the oil already. The engine, which had made no unusual noise before, now shook violently and wouldn’t turn over. My dad checked the dipstick—it showed thin, runny oil. They concluded I needed a new engine. A used one would cost $3,400. That brings the total repairs to over $9,000—more than the car is worth and more than I owe on it. Before taking it to Bradshaw, the car had zero engine issues—just a loss of power. Now it’s unusable. This experience has been a financial and emotional burden. I trusted this shop to fix the problem, but now I’m left with a broken car, conflicting stories, and a massive bill. Something clearly went wrong, and I believe the situation was mishandled at several points.
