On Sept 19, 2022 I was reading about spy briefing and I had put in for a couple of knives which I received then I was supposed to get a book and news paper. I did get the knives and 3 papers but that was all. They have been taking money out which I didn't know is now. (******) to date I have asked them what they were taking the money for. I didn't receive an answer. I have written a few times but no answer. I called my bank and they told me I couldn't stop it. I have to get a new card. That makes it hard for me. They keep charging me. I'm getting really upset with the lies. I'm going to have to tell my bank that this was a scam. I don't know what else to do. I don't have any idea . I just have my bank statements that I can show. Hi *****, I'm sorry to hear that you signed up for a membership that you didn't intend on doing. I see on September 17, 2022 you ordered an ebook copy of the Off The Grid Safe House which was sent to you via email. After you purchased this book, I see you took the upsell for 1 Free Stiletto Knife + Membership and after that, you opted to purchased 3 additional Stiletto Knives. These knives were all shipped out to you on September 20, 2022 via ***** We then sent you daily emails about the membership you signed up for and sent you monthly newsletters via ***** The only time we received an email from you was on November 4th and November 11th and they were replies to *****'s emails where you just commented on the email contents, never mentioning that you wished to cancel anything or had any questions about your order from 2 months prior. Today, I cancelled your membership and issued you 6 refunds totaling $409.06. I ordered a free book and paid for the shipping and handling. I never received the book and everytime I try to contact them I get a recording to leave a message which I do to try to find out what is going on or to track package and never get a response .I'm beginning to think this is some kind of scam please help me resolve this issue or have have to file fraud complaint on my credit card thank you.Business Response

I purchased a couple of books and other things from this company; I received the goods but I also signed up for a monthly newsletter. I have only received one newsletter so far, after a few months, and I continue to be overwhelmed with daily emails from this company trying to sell me other things and services. Then I saw a $77 charge on my AMEX several months in a row. I don't recall signing up for that kind of large monthly fee. I have tried twice to contact Spy Briefing by phone to cancel this, only to get voicemail and no return call. I am not seeking any refunds for past charges; I do want the subscription cancelled going forward and if I see the charge on my AMEX next month, I will dispute it with AMEX.Business Response

Hello *****, I'm sorry to hear that there was a misunderstanding at some point. Unfortunately, we have not been able to offer concealed carry insurance for well over a year, you can thank our government for that. I also apologize that when you spoke with one of our customer support reps in August they didn't cancel your membership and issue you refunds, although it doesn't look like you asked for that, he still should have made sure you were happy with the product. I have issued you all of the six membership payments you have made beginning in April. You'll see three refunds of $77 each and then three more for $78.31, they should show back ** in your account early next week.
The reason the payment increased was because we were told that we needed to charge tax to almost all of our customers (there are a couple of states that don't have to pay sales tax) for every transaction.

This is the second straight time when I ordered something I didn't receive it, It took me weeks last time to get what I bought from ignored emails and being lied to. Hello, I'm sorry you're having these problems. I'm not exactly sure what the issue is with the Car Fighting digital video you purchased. If you use the link that the customer rep provided you with it will take you to the video. As for the changing of your password, we didn't change it. Looking in the history, I can see that it's a password you created yourself. If you log into your account at spyandsurvival.com using your email address and that password, you'll find the four videos you purchased. They were there now they're gone The problem I had with the carjacking video I never got the link until after emailing several times I had to file with the BBB. I want back my missing videos
