When I initially booked the move, I was quoted $2,900, based on a conversation in which I was asked to estimate the number of boxes. I explained that I wasn’t able to provide an accurate estimate, but **** ***** told me to “give it your best guess” and reassured me that “this is just an estimate” and that he was confident the price would not change.Following this, I received multiple calls from Heather in your customer service department asking me to sign the Bill of Lading “ASAP” so the truck could be scheduled. I made it clear that I was extremely busy and inexperienced at estimating boxes, but I was still pressured into signing the document that same day. In a follow-up call, I was asked to go room-by-room and provide more detailed inventory, something that should have been handled prior to requesting a signature. Then, just days before the move, I was called and told that the price had increased to $7,500, more than double the original quote. I was also suddenly asked to pay an additional $1,000 immediately, despite having been told that the payment structure would be one deposit at booking, half at pickup, and the rest at delivery. When I asked for just 30 minutes to speak with my wife, the representative refused and told me he couldn’t wait because he “needed to go home.” He then stated that if I needed more time, I would have to sign a form to pause the move — for an additional $400, which is yet another example of unfair pressure and an attempt to extract more money. The entire experience has been filled with misleading information, high-pressure tactics, and a sudden and unjustified increase in price — all of which constitute a breach of the original agreement. I am therefore canceling all services with Frontier Moving Solutions and demanding a full refund of my deposit.
