    I have called and emailed this company about the fact the the critter guard that was installed with my solar panels is not effective. A crew came out to my house back in October, and never did anything about it. They said the need to get a taller ladder cause my house was too high. They never came back. I have repeatedly made attempts to email the company with little to no response. I haven’t heard called during business hours and there is no answer on their phones. I get sent to voice mail.

    They put solar on our property that doesn’t match the engineered drawings, comes apart every time wind blows, has failed multiple inspections from county. We have been dealing with this for over a year now and still have a solar system on our property that isn’t working. We have asked generation solar to remove this system from our property and are unable to speak to anyone after putting in this request. No one answers their phones. The finance company hasn’t heard back from them either so that we can get proof from them we will not owe on this system.

    Generation Solar sub-contracted with Roofix without authorization from me to replace my roof. Genration Solar was contracted to install solar panels and other equipment atmy residence. Roofix removed my roof and refused to re-install the roof without payment. Genration Solar refused to pay for their mistake. I had to finance a new roof for $20,000 with Roofix's finance company. I have made significant effort to reach out to Generation Solar without success.

    We completely understand the frustration shared by *********. We have spoken to ********* on several occasions explaining that we did originally reach out to Roofix to get a quote for his reroof project. They did schedule the reroof to take place. However, Generation Solar cancelled the project the day before it took place. Roofix failed to see the cancellation note from Generation Solar. They removed the reroof then saw that it was cancelled. They stopped the work until they twisted *********** arm to pay for it then completed the new roof.

    This really should be the responsibility of Roofix to resolve. They failed to see the cancellation notice and have put ********************** in a very difficult situation. We have asked ********* to commuicate and work to resolve this with Roofix.

    In November of 2022 I had solar panels installed on my roof through Generation Solar. The panels functioned for about 14 months and then stopped working. I called to request assistance and after 4-5 months a person came to replace a battery in the inverter. The system worked for 1 month and now is not functioning. I have left numerous messages to request service and had one voicemail telling me to try and reset the inverter, which I did but it did not fix the problem. It has been over a week since I heard anything from Generation Solar and I am wanting to terminate my contract with this vendor. I purchased the system through a loan for $22,000. I would like the loan to be discharged and the system to be removed from my roof.

    We are actively working to resolve ********'s concern. We have been in contact and believe we have figured out what is wrong with her system. 

    Solar system contracts cannot be cancelled and systems removed without extra cost. A solar system is technology that has to be serviced and monitored. Much like a automobile, they require service to stay functional. You can't purchase a car and decide months down the road to return it and get your money back. Once the solar loan is paid off with her financing company, ******** has the liberty to do whatever she would like with her system. 

    We will continue to work with ******** until we are certain her system is back online and producing power like it is supposed to.
