    Stay away from Penguin Insulation and their unprofessional business practices. The business owner "Doug" is an absolute nightmare to deal with. When I contacted them for insulation services for a recently purchased home. They were unable to provide services promised and lied about services they actually do not provide. I had to hire another company to complete the work.The owner "*Doug" called me multiple times in a row, harassed me when I finally was able to step away from work to answer. He hung up on me mid-conversation several times, talked over me, and insulted me constantly all within our 30-minute interaction. He even went as far as threatening to put a lien on my elderly parents property if payment was not made immediately. This is unacceptable and an outrageous display of unprofessionalism. If his staff wrote notes on the account he would have known that I actually asked for the bill to be temporarily held while I obtained letters from each company (including his own) to help provide proof to the seller of the home purchased the severity of the condition and ask for help with payment. I was able to obtain letters from ALL other parties involved immediately besides HIS to submit to the sellers agent. I contacted his staff several times but was left waiting for months. If anything, his company is the one preventing payment for not only him, but EVERYONE.To add insult to injury, their business is not even accredited (verified later by BBB), which raises serious doubts about their competence and trustworthiness. I would never recommend Penguin Insulation to anyone and urge others to avoid them at all costs. Save yourself the frustration, and find a reputable insulation company that values their customers and operates with integrity.
