    I rented this apartment in December 2022. When the warm weather started, I tried to contact Fortress Property Management about fixing the central air conditioner. I was directed to an app to contact the maintenance person. I've tried several times to contact the maintenance person but no one came to fix the air conditioner. I contacted a lawyer to see what my options are in forcing the management team to fix the A/C which led to promises but not to fixing it. The temperature is in the high 80's and low 90's now and still no one has fixed the A/C. The lawyer I talked to said that if the A/C is not working the apartment can be deemed as uninhabitable. I don't want to serve a legal notice saying the management/maintenance team needs to fix the A/C within 3 days because that notice also states that if it's not fixed within that time period, I will only have 10 days to move out which could be hard. I just want the A/C fixed soon.
