    Not worth it. I gave Cove a try when it was running a promotion. I was told that at the end of my trial period I would receive the gift card that was advertised during the promotion. My trial period ended in January of 2025 and I have yet to receive the gift card as advertised. I called and was on hold for more than 15 minutes then it took hours for someone to call me back. When they finally did call they had no idea what promotion was running when I signed up, good thing I screenshot it. I was told I was on a list and would be receiving my **** gift card but they could not tell me when. My equipment had malfunctioned twice now and every time I call the wait time is outrageous. It takes them hours to return the calls and then I had to pay shipping both times for them to ship out new equipment. I am not happy with the customer service they deliver or the false advertising! If you are advertising a **** Gift card at the end of the trial period then that gift card should be mailed out at the end of the trial period! Would not recommend

    Pick ANY other security system. Cove's app has always been glitchy (my iPhone only gets email alerts, never texts; my husband's Android cannot arm or disarm the system; the multiple times our app has disconnected or we have had issues it has always been when we're out of town), but workable ********* early January--with no alert from Cove--our 3 outdoor security cameras stopped syncing with our app. Called ***************** was told it was a known issue (that they couldn't proactively communicate to customers?), and they had no timeframe for a resolution. Their solution was to use a different app (which requires a subscription fee!) so we could access our cameras on our phones. Three and a half months later and this issue is still not fixed.The cherry on top was when I went to downgrade our monitoring plan from ********* to Cove Basic, as--per their website--the only difference was ability to access cameras in the app. Why would I pay more money if that feature was no longer available. I double-checked that the ability to arm and disarm the system from my phone was available with both plans, and per their website it was. Minutes after downgraded my monitoring plan I no longer had the ability do arm/disarm on my phone. When I followed up with customer service they told me that arming/disarming on the phone app with the Cove Basic plan was only available to users with the newer panel and system--so I am in effect being penalized for being a long-time customer with an older system.When I called to cancel today they finally tried to make it right with an offer of new equipment and a marginally lower monthly fee, but after 3.5 months of idiotic back-and-forth with customer service I had finally had enough, and had already bought a competitor's system. It should not take me calling to cancel for your customer service team to finally attempt to make things right after 3.5 months of exceedingly poor service.

    been with them for years this company has gone down the s*** hole. Nothing works they charge you for cloud storage but neither the cameras have support for original users. Absolutely pathetic, plus cancelling it is a pain too

    Absolute scam, hardware barely works, customer support is useless. Cancellation process is a nightmare and the moment your card declines they call you multiple times a day to try and process your payment. Stick with the **** of the world.

    Services are poor. I reached out because I have been having so many issues with their system. The rep are not driven ******* me solve my issue, even willing to cancel my services as requested. I just want to cancel and have my service fee for this month refunded.

    Purchased system and 4 outside cameras and video doorbell. After 1 yr cameras started having issues. Last few months my app stopped working completely. Un-installed and re installed it many many times, nothing. Have called several times a day every day for a week and **** that can cancel unavailable. I DO NOT recommend this company.

    DO NOT UPGRADE TO THE NEW HUB AND PANEL. Just shut down their service! They have sent me 2 Hubs and 3 Panels and nothing works!! I have spent 6+ hours on calls with them trying different ways to install and their solution is always to send a new device. Its the definition of Insanity. They just refuse to send an expert installer. I have been without a fully functional system since 2.5 months. They used to be amazing (really) but have been very disappointing since their "upgraded" systems have showed up.

    My review has only to do with their **************** when trying to cancel my service. First I engaged the chat feature hoping for help, after waiting 20 minutes on the chat for them to engage after a few minutes of back and forth I was told I could only cancel by calling customer service. I called and after explaining I wanted to cancel and why I was then put on hold to be transferred to yet ANOTHER ***** After 15 minutes of hold I had to drop for something so called back later the same day. I then went thru the same exercise with a customer service agent who after keeping me on hold for the "retention* **** came back on and asked if I could "call back in like an hour" after refusing that a couple times I was finally transferred where I had to explain the situation all over again. I was able to get my subscription cancelled at this point but got charged another months fee as "cancellation". Honestly awful customer service.

    Unfortunately I have services at my home and my business that I am regretting.ordered a doorbell camera for my home .it came in not working.i have it returned over 3 months ago and i have not get a replacement for it.calling customer service three times and every time i was giving a tracking number that is not accurate and i was told each time that i have to wait 3 weeks for the replacement to arrive.they have no supervisor available and i was promised more than twice that a many will call me back ,but that call never arrived.The second issue for my business alarm.we bout a camera with the system because we were told that it will keep recording for 7 days.we purchased another one .one of them worked for a while and then it has stopped working and the new camera we were not been able to make it work either.Several calls ,no response.I wish I have read the reviews prior to my doing business with them
