**AVOID THIS COMPANY**It all started out good or so I thought... First off they will ***** you if you finance, they won't even offer the cash price (30% lower, sounds fraudulent right? 30% tax "credit"....)You'll have to start out by doing their job with the city/county/hoa for appovals and permits. Then comes the install that *** or *** not happen, and if it does happen the day you schedule. They won't finish... They'll also 100% leave nasty goop and garbage for your kids and dogs to attempt to eat. Almost guaranteed they'll fail the first inspection because they half a** all their work. Then again, they'll have to ****be* schedule the inspection weeks after install. They'll lie to the finance company that the work is completed and your loan will start before completion. The *** ***** is a joke, ask the employees, it'll entertain you. Odd that he's the only reason why some solar review websites rate this company fair, supposedly he has ceo "experience". The PM's were probably found after staying the night at a holiday inn express (find the commercials to understand).Just do yourselves a favor and stay away from this company. Unless of course you like paying someone else to do some work that you'll have to do yourself anyway.Tephra Solar

Mr. ************** are a few things that we would like to address with you. HOAs will not work directly with a 3rd party (anybody that is not the homeowner). This is generally listed in your agreement with your HOA. HOAs request that the homeowners apply for solar installation approval. We can assist you with any documentation needed for that application but we are unable to complete that approval process.The tax credit was discussed with you multiple times as well as on a recorded line. You understood very clearly that the tax credit is a potential of 30%. You clearly stated that you thought it was the government who was fraudulent in how they paid out tax credits and that you didnt think it was our company responsible for how those are allotted. It is a homeowners responsibility to negotiate and review financial options. We work with 7 financial institutions and have over 50 options to choose from. You selected a financial option and moved forward with signing the agreement. Our representatives work hard to get you the lowest rates possible but that decision is ultimately yours. 50% of solar companies in your area went out of business last year. We are part of the 50% of solar companies that have continued business in your area. We are in business because we have knowledgeable hardworking people who choose to work for us. Our teams are quick, clean, kind, and courteous to all of our customers. If there is an issue they are willing to correct the issue as quickly as possible.Your project from the date that your panels were installed to when your system was operational was 33 days even with having to schedule your electrical finish a month after your panel installation due to your availability. This is very quick for solar installations in your area. NEGATIVE 5 STARS This entire ordeal began June 24 , 2023. 5 months later and still nothing. IN SHORT DO NOT USE OR TRUST TEPHRA.*********************** with Tephra is your typical car sales person. Paints a nice picture gets his commission and then drops you like a bad habit. Doesn't follow through with customers to make sure the job is moving along smoothly or completed for that matter. Makes promises and then changes the script when you try to collect on the promise made. Had to have our roof redone in order to get the panels. Roofers put a hole in the water line causing a leak in the ceiling. He called the contractors, but no follow through to make sure everything was completed and done correctly. We had a few issues with the contractors doing what we wanted corrected and my husband had to communicate with them to get thing moving. We were supposed to get a window replaced as part of our contract. According to ****** 2 orders were put in and as far as he knew the order date was set. Again no follow through until 4 months later and I had to call him and complain about the windows not being placed. Had 1 inspection scheduled which they no showed with no communication about the situation until again I had to call to find out what was going on at which point I was told "oh sorry they went out but you had dogs and inspection couldn't be completed. I complained about payment being expected but no service being provided at which point ****** sent a text telling me he would Zelle me the first payment if service had not been switched over by the bill due date. No surprise when now that he's being held to his word he says the company prohibits us from sending clients money it has to go through a financial review for reimbursement . I wish I could up load our text conversations. I should bill them for follow through on their job!!! IN SHORT DO NOT USE OR TRUST TEPHRA.Tephra Solar

You really can not say bad things about Tephra's customer service, because they have none. They do not respond to calls or emails. Change Project Managers every few months to add to the confusion. Avoid at all costs. Our drawing were incorrect from the start. I asked to review the docs before submittal to the ************************** and NV Energy. Received them via email and replied back immediately as the combiner was shown on the south side of the house, our meter is on the north side. My first Project Manager said he would fix it right away. ************************** shows up several weeks later and fails inspection as the drawing still showed the combiner on the south side of the house when it was installed on the north side. Tephra again says it is all squared away. Several more weeks go by and ************************** fails it again as drawing is still wrong and also the ** panel is missing required placards. Third time was the charm several weeks later. Next comes NV Energy inspection. Fail again as disconnect is mounted inside locked gate. Tephra's fix is to have NV Energy key lockbox installed with gate key. Failed again. NV Energy finds this unacceptable and fails again. So we finally get Tephra to move shutoff outside the gate (and do a childlike repair on the damaged stucco),.Two weeks go by and we finally get PTO, albeit 8 weeks later than we should have. Two months into service, the combiner loses its Wifi connection. Nothing changed at our house. Wifi network name and password unchanged since system turned on. Technician comes out from Tephra, he cannot figure it out. He says Project Manager will reach out to me. No call, no response from my emails. So I guess my best advice is to stay as far away from Tephra as possible. I tried to submit this with zero stars but BBB requires at least one star.Tephra Solar

Worst company ever. I have had their equipment that they use for over 2 yrs and still receiving an electric bill. They sell the cheapest equipment they can use. I already had 3 different companies come by to see if they can help because they know the equipment that I have now isn't worthy. I have found a trust worthy company in my own state and next town over. Although I have to add more they are not charging me for the upgrade from the box they use to store the energy. Every company said they do not u derstand why they used that equipment in the first place. I have called this company after 3 months and they would not work with me once they were paid. I contacted the service Manger as of June 2021 he no longer works there. I had called and texted their CEO and never once got in touch with us. The people in Colordao that I talked to are not happy at all with this company. I had them 3 months told them come get your junk. It is not worth what we paid. I seen nothing but 5 stars on their website. It must be family members. I wouldn't recommend this place for anything.Tephra Solar
