  Hunters beware, our group hunted 3rd rifle season2022 ***************************. I have been using outfitters for 30 years and this was by far the worse **** I have been on. The owner is extremely rude, dishonest. I asked a question about spotters and thats when the **** went sideways, he actually told us we could leave if we dont like it. The ranch is surrounded by private hunters so the chances of an Elk passing through is slim, 4 hunters, zero shooting opportunities, the group of 4 before us shot *******. Just look at other reviews before booking with this ******s

  We had 4 hunters at the ******** ranch that they lease we saw no elk we booked a 4 day **** we got to **** 3 days food was average accommodation wear good they charged us $7500 plus tag and license the ranch is over hunted and does not have any elk on it I would not recommend all they care about is taking your money do not book a **** with them

  I just finished a **** at SD Outfitters and would most definitely avoid this place. It is not what they claim, are dishonest about it and the requirements to ****. We were expecting a fair **** operation, because we asked multiple times, including face to face whether this was a high fence ****. Every time the owner said no. When we arrive we find out we need to agree, signed and dated, to pay $1,700 minimum in tips. The owner later claimed this was a suggestion. We were ushered out shortly after we arrived to **** the evening, taking off in side by sides, and head up the road from the cabin. There we passed a 10ft gate and saw the fence. Within 30 minutes 3 elk were down, including 2 over 400. The largest walked into a clearing despite the atvs both just passing and still coming. The 2nd was mine. We drove up a hill and saw it standing in the brush. We got out, talked about it, moved a bit, and agreed on a price. The elk never moved and was shot from 30 yards away. It turned out this one also had an infection that poured out when opened. It was gross. Bottom line, this place is a sham. They charge $8,900 to shoot farm raised elk (every one was ear tagged) and then try to either sell a small elk, without a discount, or up sell for a larger one. When we questioned why what we were seeing isnt what we were told, the owner, *****, immediately got upset and confrontational, telling us to leave if we didnt like it. This place is one to avoid in the owner is rude and dishonest. There are better places to spend your money, and better people to spend it with.
