I found odd things happening from the get go, like putting heat vents in the middle of the floor. My framer fell in one of the holes they left behind and was injured. They wanted to charge me to fix their ductwork after the framer fell through their hole. I had grease all over my walls after they installed three head units. My house wasn’t cooling like it should have. It would actually get warmer while their air-conditioning was running because they put in the wrong size air conditioning unit. Their technician told me that if the unit could cool down the inside 10° from what the outside temperature was it was doing the job. I asked this company to remedy the problem but they didn’t want to. Instead I got this text message. “ No sir, I sure won’t. This is Jeremy’s wife and office manager, Melinda. We have a signed contract with you. If you want something different and would like to pay extra then that’s one thing but we will not be doing anymore work for free. You will pay us for the work we did or we will go to court. Also, if you want someone to do EXTRA things for you that are outside a contract and will cost more, threatening them is not the way to do it. We will not be paying for your mistakes like the whole fireplace fiasco. Also, if someone else touches our equipment, it voids our warranty. So you can either pay us what is owed or we will be putting a lien on the property and going to court. It’s up to you. I have a lawyer on standby.” As far as free work, I have no idea what she’s talking about. $50,000 to put in an AC unit doesn’t sound “free”. So I’ve had to hire another HVAC company to come back and fix their problems. They’ve pointed out a lot of mistakes Technicool made. Too small of an AC unit, ducting that is too small, mounting remote control unit for the air-conditioning heads too high on the wall so that they’re out of reach for anybody to use.

We had a contract with Mr ******** that did not include the load calculations to determine the size of unit needed to cool his house properly. He decided to get someone else to do those calculations and then hired us to do the work. We did everything per his calculations and per our contract. The agreement on the contract was to receive half the total amount up front to pay for equipment, and then the rest upon completion of the contracted service. Mr. ******** signed said contract and then tried to get out of paying the half up front even though the work had already started. That was a BIG red flag. We also agreed to install his fireplace, but when we went to install it, the opening he had the framers frame was not going to fit his fireplace that he ordered and wanted us to install. So we made a lot of unnecessary trips because he was not ready and his plans were not properly drawn up. The whole build of his house was unorganized and not adding up. The framing was off by a few inches and hanging over the side of the foundation. Anyways, we finished our contract and did everything we were contracted to do, and yes we came back to fix a few things that he was not happy about. He then said that he was not happy about the amount of time it took his house to cool properly and that he wanted us to rip out what we had done and put something else in. Meaning, everything we had just done, all the equipment we just put in, he wanted us to take a loss on it even though we did what we were contracted to do. We explained to him that we went off the plans and calculations that he had someone else draw up and that the calculations were the problem because they told him to put in a unit that was too small and he didn't want to hear anything about it. We tried to remedy the situation, we would be happy to do that but it would be at an additional cost and he would need to satisfy the contract first. He didn't like that arrangement and told us that if we didn't make it right with no more money out of pocket that he would smear us online and that's exactly what he is trying to do here. Mr. ******** still owes us $25,000 and is currently in collections. We will be going to court if needs be because we have the signed contract and other receipts to back us up. We don't like having situations like this but once you have bent over backwards for someone and done a lot of extra things for them, to have them then say that they wont pay you what is owed, it's time to say "Ok, no more".   Tell us why here...

In May 2021 I hired Technicool to remove and replace my Swamp Cooler they quoted me $2600 I paid half and the other half the next day. I contacted Technicool after the installation because the swamp cooler was leaking. After several weeks they came out and determined they had cut the legs of my old Swamp Cooler down and screwed into the bottom water pan which caused the leaking. The owner and I decided to wait until October 2021 and he would come and remove and replace the swamp cooler. However in October he called and told me he would give me 500 and come and reseal the whole bottom of the swamp cooler. He never showed up he never called. When I finally got in touch with him he said they no longer do Swamp Cooler’s. I am asking for my $2600 back I will have to have this removed new supports and replaced.

We apologize for not showing up in October. We had heavy snow that day and would not have been able to get on the roof. We tried to get ahold of you and were unable to. The whole swamp cooler does not need to be replaced. We can come resolve this for no extra charge.
