I started business with this gentleman in Jan 2023, ordered a manufactured home which required 50% down per the business agreement which I wired 1/31/23 ($62k). Have been working to excavate property in perpetration, and Mike T***** has stopped all communication, we’re just reaching out for measurements, foundation info, and reassurance that our house will be built. Have called over a dozen times, emailed (which his email is no longer valid) several times with no response. His website is down and no word from him since January. Have seen online reviews with failures to deliver with Apoca Outpost and (after further digging) his former bankrupt company Upper Valley Tiny Homes. We need a refund as there seems to be no promise that our product will be delivered, and unfortunately suspecting a scam.

I signed a contract with this company on 1/18/2023 to build me a shed. I gave him the 50% deposit on 1/19/2023. The shed was supposed to be built within a couple of months. At first the company would respond to my texts and give me a heads up on build time. I am no longer able to get ahold of the owner Mike Tveter and he will not respond to my texts or calls. I would either just like my money refunded or the shed delivered as promised in my agreement.

On 03 March 203, I verbally agreed to purchase a used, off-grid 32 foot camper (****************************) from Apoca Outpost LLC via telephonic and text message communications with Michael T*****. The price was quoted as $50,000 for the trailer and $2,100 for shipping. Over the next couple weeks, I requested an received pictures of the trailer, a purchase agreement, wire instructions, and VIN number.

On 22 March 2023, due to concerns with the purchase agreement, I requested Mike send me a text confirming the trailer is sold to me once the wire goes through. Mike did so including a promise to mail the title. I approved the wire transfer of $52,100.00 from my account to provided account Apoca Outpost LLC at Coastal Community Bank. Mike confirmed the wire went through and estimated the trailer would ship late the following week.

Over the next month, Mike made several arrangements to deliver the trailer and repeatedly claimed to run into issues such as a vehicle break down and getting run off the road resulting in trailer damage. No title came in the mail.

On 03 May 2023, Mike sent a text message indicating he was finishing repairs in nearby Evansville (90 minutes from me). Mike did not arrive that night. This is the last communication I received from him despite continued attempts to contact him. I tried to visit the Apoca Outpost LLC website and found it no longer in service. I re-checked the Utah Better Business Bureau and found a recent complaint from 14 March 2023 indicating similar issues with Apoca Outpost LLC. A search of Michael T*****'s name revealed a criminal record and a previous company Upper Valley Tiny Homes LLC with similar complaints. My bank tried unsuccessfully to reverse the wire transfer but found no funds in the account.

I demand Apoca Outpost LLC/Michael T***** provide either a full refund ($52,100.00) or my trailer (if it is as advertised).

Our business, Maxim Engineering, is trying to purchase an office container from Apoca Outpost. We have a purchase agreement, a copy of the wire transfer, emails and text messages. We sent Apoca Outpost a wire transfer for 50% down payment ($16,400.00) on 12/29/2022 per the agreement. Last week, Derek Franken of our office spoke to the Apoca Outpost representative, who seems to be the only owner/employee, Mike T******, and the container was supposed to be delivered to our location in Alpine, CA sometime that week or so he told us. This did not happen, and we have been trying to get a hold of him since then and he will not return any phone calls, emails or text messages. The contact information we have for him is ###-###-#### and ###-###-#### phone; [email protected] email; and www.apocaoutpost.com website. When we have conversed with Mr. T******, there is always an excuse or delays, etc. Just getting the runaround with him. All we want is the office container delivered as promised.
