      Animal cruelty at its worst!!!! I went with my family yesterday. We were having such a great time. I was even going to purchase season passes for the family next season. But then we got on the train.. you wouldnt know unless you ride this particular ride, but Lagoon has a zoo that the train rides past. This is where it went downhill for me. The animals are so terribly taken care of. They have small concrete enclosures with no vegetation at all. Not to mention they all look so sickly. And all the loud noises that come with an amusement park that they are surrounded by. Seeing the way these animals are treated has completely broken my heart. I cannot believe that nothing has been done about this yet. I also cant believe how many people ride this ride and dont even care. I have done some research and it seems that lagoon has been fined multiple times for this, but continue to do nothing about it. Also heard that they keep them so they can claim having a zoo for tax break purposes. Absolutely disgusting!!! People have even tried to reach out to the owner and his reply is always disturbing claiming the animals have no feelings and that people are not qualified to state the animals are living in inhumane conditions. At $100 a ticket. It is safe to say that lagoon does pretty well financially. They could easily fix the habitats these poor animals are living in but refuse to. I cant help but think what can I do to help these poor animals. First.. I will not be visiting lagoon again until this has been resolved properly. I also will share with everyone I know this concern for these beautiful animals. I can only ask if others will leave reviews as well and stand behind not supporting this type of cruelty. We know better. Lagoon knows better and should do better. We should all do better!!!

      They are taking advantage & using kids. They tell them not to clock in during their working hours. I have had a manager in interview ****** my daughters social security card out of her hands & read it out loud with many people standing around them. A manager told my daughter not to clock in after her first day. We have gone out of our way to get her to this place with multiple transportation options. When we initially mentioned before hire that we were trying to get her on her friends schedule for transportation concerns. They paid her for 1 day on her first pay check when she should have been paid for 4 days! This was the beginning of June, her first paycheck was paid June 21st. I have been calling them even going in person expressing my concerns. Multiple managers making notes of her hours & telling me she will get paid her missing hours July 6th. *** still had to try to contact them, they still have not paid her as they have said, now saying they will pay her July 21st We have gone out of our way for transportation solutions, constantly Ive sent out emails & spoken with managers, with them telling me they need to get ahold of the other department, days going by & they are sending my daughter emails on how she is a no show. The communication, the management & the crooked pay that they are withholding is not fair & I imagine my daughter is probably not the only one they are try to pull this on. I can not count the many times I have tried to speak to them about these serious matters! My daughter dedicated her time & worked even passed her scheduled time, I know because I sat outside waiting for them to finally release ********** refuse to pay her her earned working hours! We put decided on her resignation June 18th. We were encouraged to stay if they contact try to get her on the same schedule then again waiting days for a return call. Me having to call in again. Still waiting for her pay to come through but expecting more excuses! Court is in the future!

      Why has NO ONE DONE ANYTHING ABOUT THE ANIMAL ABUSE AT THIS PARK?!?!?!

      I am leaving a review from my visit to lagoon on October 21st, 2023. I took my daughter, niece and my mom for a fun vacation. We were close to first in the park at opening. Our first stop was the canibal. Signs posted temporarily closed and when we asked we were told in the next hour we waited 2.5 hours and every 5 minutes someone asked the workers and each time was a different answer. After waiting 3 hours and being told maintenance was working on it we gave up and went to the samurai. Which was ALSO closed. We traveled from ***** and paid a lot of money to experience frightmares and were really disappointed with this visit.
