Craig tries to respond to emails but is terrible with communication, especially when there’s a concern regarding time frame. No info on the website as to how long his process takes. No phone number for business on web site as I’m sure he thought that would alleviate the problem regarding his lack of communication. It’s been 5 months with no response to how long it will take. A friend of mine told me she didn’t get hers for 8 months. The ribbon color choices are labeled but no photos accompany, you’re going on assumption as to what the actual color looks like. “Shadow purple” could be a lot of things. If I would’ve read these reviews or heard from my friend prior to spending the money, I would not have went with him. He does explicitly put on the website ‘no refunds’ so hopefully he sends a hat.

I will give this company one star as the owner, Mr. Craig S*****, was pleasant enough on the phone WHEN I could get him to return a call. I ordered a custom, Longmire-style hat from this company (which advertises itself as a custom hat maker) in October, 2022, for my husband. After seven months and numerous unanswered emails and telephone calls during the last few months of that time, I finally did receive the hat. This hat, which I paid approximately $300 for, looks like something that was purchased at a dime store for less than $10. It is stiff, looks and feels like cheap cardboard instead of Beaver, looks nothing at all like a Longmire style hat, and is extremely uncomfortable according to my husband as the inner band is rippled and uneven instead of smooth. I emailed Mr. S***** after I received the hat, explaining the numerous reasons for my dissatisfaction with the hat and requesting a refund. As he chose to ignore the email, I sent a certified, return receipt requested letter to him which he did receive; and, once again, he ignored my request for a refund. I should add here that I offered to send the hat back to him at my own expense for the cost of the shipping. Mr. S****** in the ‘About Us’ section of his website, talks in detail about his belief that everyone should own a hat that is both comfortable and looks great on. This hat is neither of those things; and, apparently, his own self-described personal beliefs are merely meaningless words as he will not stand behind his own product. I would not recommend doing business with this company and this man.
