      Our experience with Utah Heat Cable in Centerville, UT has not been positive. The owner was at our house last winter and stated they had not installed enough heat cable and he committed to us to come out in the spring and install additional cable. This never happened. We were even willing to pay for the additional heat cable. When the snow melted, we saw that 7 panels on our metal roof had been torn by the snow guards that were installed by Utah Heat Cable. When notified and sent pictures the owner stated on 05/08/2023 “I will go ahead and get the replacement snow retention ordered.” After additional messages and photos, we have yet to get our snowguards repaired or the additional heat cable installed as promised. In fact, we have not heard from him since he said the parts were ordered. Our roof has been repaired, the damaged snowguards have been taken down, but nothing has been done by Utah Heat Cable regarding the snowguards or the heat cable. We do not recommend Utah Heat Cable.
