    Avoid Bonitas Concrete at All Costs

    I had the absolute worst experience with Bonitas Concrete, led by the owner, Angel. The forms they used were not straight or plumb, which led to a completely uneven finish. They also failed to protect my windows, doors, and columns, resulting in concrete overspray all over my house.

    For six months, I’ve been chasing them to come and clean the mess they left behind, but they have completely ignored my phone calls and emails. To make matters worse, they used red chalk for their lines, but instead of using a temporary chalk, they used a permanent red chalk that will never come out.

    Additionally, they never recommended that I put a sealer on top of my concrete and didn’t advise against using salt during the winter. Because of this lack of guidance, my concrete is now chipping. If only they had taken the time to educate me and offer options, the outcome might have been different. Unfortunately, their whole operation seems to be about getting in and out as quickly as possible and taking your money, without any concern for long-term quality or customer satisfaction. They don’t seem interested in referrals or building a reputation—they just see you as another number.

    The $6 million home looks beautiful—except for the concrete, which is a complete nightmare. If you need proof, feel free to reach out to me and come take a look at my project. It’s a disaster.
