  SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL--We requested a conference meeting withMiss ***, whichshe declined. She said she would reach out on 12-14-22...she didn't.She went as far as to provide an ultimatum via email on ***** that it was her "final communication". Rather than acknowledge deficiencies, shedoubled down & chose to communicate in a public forum.After her ultimatum, and only after seeing our ****** review, she found it necessary to respond.We originally tried to get feedback and collaborate in a private, civil, constructive way. She chose to avoid a "situation" via contract termination rather than have an adult conversation.She said sheapplied a volunteer credit to invoice #********. It shows a discount, but we never received a refund. She can create **** invoices, but if we never receive payment then there is still no refund! Her accounting **** emailed us on 12-19-22 to address the credit, however, I requested clarification for the discount on 9-26-22. Does it really take 3 months to respond to clients?Regarding the background check forvolunteers, in thehandbook wereceived for '22-'23, it clearlystates: "Parents who wish to volunteer must be background checked per the new ************* childcare guidelines".We received this Sept '22 and it is still in circulation on her website.She stated, "at the time you volunteered we didn't require you to pass a background check". Her policy at the time of our contract is in directcontradiction to her response.Her policy was in force in Sept '22 and it is still active.I question whether itis being enforced at all, since in mycase it was not.This had nothing to do with not "seeing eye to eye". We asked for a meeting to support her efforts, avoid misunderstandings, and communicate & collaborate effectively. We mentioned that in several emails and texts to Miss ***, but instead she chose to terminate our contract without parent consultation. That was her decision. It is ours to share our experience here.

  I have absolutely loved Shining Stars for my daughter for preschool. We went to another school for her first year and then made the switch to Shining Stars for her last year of preschool. I cannot say enough amazing things about this school. The teachers are fabulous, the school environment is darling and the field trips/activities are so much fun. My daughter looks forward to school every single day.

  The owner and lead teacher for Shining Stars, simply put, is incredible. She puts so much detail into her entire school and curriculum, and more importantly, makes each child feel seen and special. My child has been engaged from day one and is eager to go to school each day. He is excited to share any news or interest he has with his teachers because of how special they make him feel. My child is walking away from preschool with the ability to read, do mental math, use his creative imagination, and with a continued passion for learning. On top of this, kindness and respect are taught and emphasized through example. If only I could take his teacher with him all the way through his senior year!

  We love shining stars! Weve had such a positive experience there. My child and I feel safe and I have seen her knowledge and understanding of letters and numbers grow immensely! Thank you to Miss *** and all the teachers. ??

  This incredible academy has done SO much for my children. Every aspect of our experience here has been fantastic! My kids home so excited to share what they have learned each day! They love their trachers, especially Miss ***. She is so aware of every childs needs. And helps them individually one on one to improve and grow. I cant say enough great things about this quality school!

  Miss *** and her staff have been so amazing. My son and daughter have both attended Shining Stars and have both loved it. Miss *** is great at creating content that is about learning but mostly they have fun and play. We would recommend Shining Stars over and over again.

  This has been an amazing preschool for my twins! They are so thoughtful at ensuring that each child is adapting and thriving and have been accommodating and kind when dealing with any issues or questions. My twins love going to school and are excited to learn. We couldnt have asked for a better foundation and introduction to learning for them!

  ************ absolutely love the experience I had for my boy. Miss ***** (I noticed this website hides names) and her staff truly are doing something different here. As a divorced parent, my boy has to spend 50/50 between here and another state. Miss *** has adapted to meet my childs needs and since he is going to 2 different schools at the same time, I can truly see an improved difference between Shining Stars Academy and what my child is experiencing in the other state. Shining Stars Academy is a legit pre-school compared to the Daycare quality experience my boy gets in the other state. What a difference it has made! Wow. I love how they have made this a safe experience for my boy when Im nervous as a first time parent. Those worries went away. I would definitely do this again and I highly recommend it.

  My twins have grown immensely from this preschool program compared to the school district offered preschool program they were in the year prior. Im so impressed with Ms. *** and her entire staff! Would highly recommend!

  Shining Stars is the best School!! We absolutely love it and Miss *** is the best teacher there is!! She loves the kids so much!! My child can't wait to go to school each day! I can't recommend this school enough!!
