    I have been waiting almost 2 years for them to send me a warranty axle. Tired of leaving voicemails and emails that they never respond to I sent one last fairly demanding email. Well that finally got the owners attention! For the first time in over a year he decided to respond with a phone call. Told me that he will never be sending me a warranty axle and proceeded to cuss me out.

    If he would like a refund, send the parts back as well as the two sets of warranty axles and I would be happy to refund.

    On March 15th I placed an order for axle shafts with the company Carbon Off road. On March 16th a charge from at company called ****************** was charged my credit card. I never received any communication that they received my order or confirmation of an order number at the time I placed the order. I tried to call the company leaving several messages, I tried to message them through Carbon Off Road web site. I tried emailing them and even messaging them through ********* I even tried to put a bad review on their web site to see if they would contact me then. 21 days after I placed an order and have have tried severals times to contact them with no response I have filled fraud cases started. I understand delays in orders but no communication what so ever leads me to believe the company is no longer in business or is a scam. I have since found several people online who have had the same experience with the company not shipping product and keeping money. The company site boost of great warranty but not if you can not contact them. I can not trust this company to honor anything they say they will do.

    On Dec 19th 2021, I placed an order with Carbon Off Road. The order was for a build-to-order axle assembly for a vehicle I am trying to restore and upgrade. The website indicated that there was an 8 to 12 week lead time for them to assemble the axle. I placed the order, and I was immediately charged in full: $5,596.00 including shipping/freight. Weeks passed. I heard absolutely nothing from Carbon Off Road except for the original order confirmation e-mail. At the end of April 2022, I began to e-mail asking for an update on my order status. I only received apologies, vague reasons for delays, and promises to follow up with me in the future. An e-mail in July and Sep went unanswered. Finally in Nov 2022, I decided to call and got the owner, Ron, on the phone, and he said they would be ready to assemble my axle "around the holidays" - I interpreted this as Jan 2023. Toward the end of Jan, I e-mailed asking for an update and got no reply. I also called, no one answered or returned my voice mails until April. In June I had had enough and stated my desire for the order to be canceled and a refund be issued. Ron said he would give me a refund but needed to call me to arrange it. He never did. I attempted to call them a number of times, but they would not answer the phone or return my calls. On July 5th, I initiated a charge dispute with Discover card. Carbon off road ignored the dispute, and Discover closed the dispute on August 13th. The dispute was closed in Carbon off road's favor because neither of us was able to provide them proof that Carbon off road intended to credit the refund to that card. Carbon off road is too vague in their promises, and is to this date, ignoring my repeated requests to send me proper documentation of the refund or refund intention, and has not delivered any goods and has provided no service besides very poor and sporadic communication.
