Purchased a vehicle from GP Motors in August 2024. They asked inappropriate questions and for inappropriate information they claimed was necessary in order to proceed with the paperwork. There were hidden fees in the financial documents that severely inflated the final cost of the vehicle, they charge an additional 5% if you finance outside of their institutions. We were required to pay $1000 down, even though we didn't even have to do so on a brand new clean totale vehicle. However, the biggest issue of all is the error in our paperwork that we did not find out about until the bank did still did not have the title after 3 months. They had put the wrong lienholder down and therefore we have been unable to get a title, license, or register the vehicle. There are several other things I have also been unable to do with the vehicle as registration and/or license are required. They requested a 5 star google review before we left the premises and they posted a narcissistic response 5 paragraphs long, when I changed my review to reflect the actual situation. They go through and respond to any less than 5 star reviews very harshly and in a manner very embarrassing and shameful for a business.
Here we are 11/27/2024 and I still do not have a title, registration, or license plates for the vehicle and won't for at least another 2 weeks I've been informed. We've had to inform and hound and chase them as well as getting the bank and the dmv to hound them as well to get anywhere to even get the mistake corrected.

My issues with GP motors started when inquired about a vehicle they had advertised. The salesman I talked to was supposed to get more information and get back to me. he never did even after asking multiple times. I asked if they were firm on price. They said they can't lower the price according to state law. Ya right. Then they tacked on $1400 in fees (also claimed to be required by state law to charge) on a $14000 car. I feel that this is false advertisement. The ad showed one price, then they put a huge fee on top. If your fees are that high it should be reflected in the price or clearly stated in the ad. After inquiring about it I was accused of being aggressive and blackmailing them. I told them I didn't appreciate the way they were treating me and was going to leave a bad review if they didn't start doing better. This started a heated argument and name calling from the dealer. very rude and difficult to work with and were dishonest. I would have purchased the vehicle if they would have had better customer service. Really disappointing. All of this on a rebuilt title car, which after all of their fees is approaching the price of clean title vehicles. This seems like a sneaky way to get people interested in saving money on a rebuilt title, and then changing the deal to getting the price closer to a clean title vehicle, all the while getting charged more for interest and more for insurance. In the end there are no savings and if you resale you'll likely lose a lot of money.

For starters the finance guy was extremely condescending, he treated my wife and I like crap, and whenever we’d ask a question, he’d answer as if we were stupid. Nevertheless we thought we were getting a good deal on the car, we trusted their “inspection” and thought we wouldn’t need inspect every inch of it ourselves. They told us they would replace the batteries for the key fobs, but we had to replace them ourselves a few days later, and the one the physical keys isn’t even for our car to fix this we would need to pay $50! A couple weeks later, the tire sensors went off and the shop we took it to said that 3 out of the 4 were not done correctly to replace this we’d have to pay $100 for each sensor. Then the battery starts dying randomly, we got it tested and the buttery is a bad battery, to replace it we’d have to spend $350-500. Then we find out the Ac doesn’t work because of a leak, this would run us around $1300! And to top it all off there is a water pump leak that will cost close to $4000 to repair. What did they say when I brought this up? That their “inspection” didn’t show any of those problems. What a shady place. There is no way that their inspection did not show any of these issues. The purchase happened in October of 2023.

Dec. 28th, 2023 I signed a Purchase Agreement in good faith, including a down payment of $3,500. The Dealership failed to notify me within 7 days, that they failed to secure financing and did not complete a credit check for the co-signer. On Dec 28th, the dealer pressured me to increase my down payment to $3,500.00. They were aware that I was recently allotted donations from GoFundme to assist in my recovery from the Lahaina Fires of August 8th. After feeling pressured into giving them a large deposit because I had "limited work history" due to my recent move away from my home in Lahaina back to Utah. We were finally able to sign the Purchase Agreement in good faith, with the assurance that the loan was approved and complete.
On February 15, 2024, nearly 45+ days from the date of Purchase Agreement. I received an letter stating that I needed to re-apply or they would report the vehicle as stolen, with no determination of denial included. I reapplied immediately, then asked to receive the new Purchase Agreement. Initially, Bradley C**** refused to deliver any information on the contract. When he finally did, I noticed discrepancies, for example: the orginally listed price chnaged and I was being charged for services I opted out of. Bradley C**** forced me to accept items on the contract, otherwise he would deny my business and giving me no option but to return the vehicle immediately. The dealership failed to secure financing, failed to notify me in a timely/appropriate matter, failed to give me the option to seek financing elsewhere, and discriminately denied me of my purchase and the ability to do business with them. Bradley C**** is threatening to require a restocking fee and mileage, plus keep my down payment which is legal required to be returned to me according to the contract. He has refused to send me termination documentation/itemized list of charges, or any information, previously requested, for Insurance and Federal Reporting purposes
