      I rented the property at *** ******** ****** in cleburne Texas. This company goes by many names and is almost impossible to find any info. As of moving out I anticipated my deposit back as I made sure the house was moved in ready when I left. No holes in the walls, no stains in the carpet, no wear on the walls paint, no broken windows. All that being said it was in better condition then when I moved in. Mostly because any time I put in a maintenance request they simply put a bandage on the issue. Upon moving in I realized the the HVAC was gas and with their remodel the cut all the gas lines. Which they never fixed. And instead of my deposit I got a bill for 20,000 dollars. There was not one hole, broken door/window, no carpentry broken, everything was the same if not better then when I moved in. They wouldn't have even had to paint or shampoo the carpets, and the bill I get is 20,000 dollars. This is simply a scam that has ruined my credit. They have no photos to back up their claims. They simply prey on renters then hide behind their multiple business names with the website (*********************) appropriately and that is not even a working page. I will be getting with an attorney and seeing what I can do on the matter. This is disgusting business ethics and I will also be going to social media, news outlets, anyone who will hear me will hear me and see them for what they are. Predator who saw it easy to scam renters out of their deposits assuming they won't or can not do anything especially when the company is a ghost. Again, I may have been a renter, but that does not mean I am not capable of financial securing some very good legal advisors. Quite the opposite actually. That is what I will be doing tomorrow. Seeking the best legal counsel I can find and making this right.
