1 starWe have had problem after problem with ES Solar since deciding to use them for our solar needs.We signed our contracts and did not receive our equipment till 6 months later. Then it took 3 months for our solar to even work because technicians and management kept failing to properly install our equipment. We failed our solar inspection 3 times and finally on the 4th, we passed because I had to talk to the inspector to see why we kept failing and literally help ES Solar figure out the issue. An issue that should not be the customers. Every time I try to get in contact with a manager, its so difficult and answers are so vague. One current issue we are dealing with is the Energy Tax Credit. Our salesman told us we would be receiving the entire credit, hands down. Turns out, there is a thing called tax liability and because of it, we are limited to $500 a year for the credit. Our Solar loan payment will now go up because of this. If we would have known this information, we would have not agreed to these terms and would not have gotten solar, especially through ES Solar. Their customer service is shady and the technicians/salespeople are even more so. Be wary of this company. They will get you with the fine print and proceed poorly.Review fromAustin B.

1 starIt was just an awful experience from the beginning and Im sure our system is over priced. The initial install and meeting with the dude they send to sell you the system was fine. But, they had to come out 3 other times to fix things before they were finally able to get it running right. They kept blowing off appointments to come out and get things fixed. It was hard to get a hold of someone to even set the appointments because their customer service would just keep leaving messages for the person that was supposed to get back to us with an appointment and that person never did. Finally after complaining every day for a while I got a customer service agent that actually took care of the issue. They initially set up our system in the beginning of July, it was supposed to start working that same month, but they didnt get it all working until the end of September. We lost out on the credits that we would have accrued had the system been working and so weve had to pay a loan payment every month in addition to a $100+ energy bill.
