    My muffler rusted out and broke off of the main pipe. Called them to see if they can weld it together and what would be the price. I got a quote of around $125. I took my car to them. After a few hours they tell me it is not repairable and I need a new muffler which would be $625 for parts and labor. I call around and find a place that will do the same thing for MUCH cheaper. I go to pick up my car from ******** and they charge me for a half hour of "diagnostic work" which was $100. I was not told about any charge when i dropped it off for them to "take a look at it".Now question! How does the actual repair job estimate was $125, but 30 minutes of "diagnostics" is $100. I asked: ":you charge $200/hr?" he said: "yes"...You charge $200 an hour? Are you serious? Are you an oral surgeon?Bottom line:- No clear communication at the time of drop off for "diagnistics" charges.- Dishonest about their hourly rate at the time of pick up.- Overcharging for nothing Go somewhere else!

    Thanks Mr ******* for your review but you have some inaccurate information because we record all of our phone calls and we have no recording of you asking for a estimate to fix your exhaust. Also we have a policy of not giving estimate over the phone with out looking at the car. When you dropped off the car our service adviser told you that if it can be welded it would be about ******. But we would need to look at it to see if it can be welded. And that there would be a diag fee. When tech checked over car and found that the exhaust was rusted out and could not be welded. We put togather an estimate to replace the rusted parts for you that you declined and we do have phone recoding of you being told that there would be a diag charge when you pick up the car and you said ok. Glad you found someone that could replace the exhaust for cheeper. Have a great day.
