    We chose Dawn Renovations in August 2022 to renovate our trailer. After a promising initial consultation with ***** over Zoom, we were optimistic about the project. ***** assured us she could handle long-distance vintage renovations.***** traveled to **** to pick up our chosen trailer (that she claimed had "good bones"), ******, as we were unable to do so. However, it soon became evident that ***** lacked the necessary skills for long-distance projects and vintage rebuilds. Her communication and project management skills were severely lacking. After eight months, we finally received a finish date and hired a hauler to transport ****** to us.Upon arrival, ****** had around 50% of items broken, incomplete, or not done as promised, despite us paying for 100%. We felt deceived and defrauded by *****/Dawn Renovations. When we confronted *****, she admitted to subpar/rushed work, acknowledging her shortcomings in communication, timing, quality, and honesty with a text of, "I'm sure there will be more things that break. There are a few things that I didn't give 100% on and I know I could've done much better with communication, timing, quality of work and honesty."It became clear that ***** exploited our long-distance situation, delivering subpar work and passing it off as complete. While the interior looked nice, it masked serious issues like extensive ********** that she cleaned up aesthetically only and passed it as good. Ultimately, we ended up having to ************************* after realizing the extent of the damage and additional costs to fix the work Dawn Renovations completed.Our experience with *****/Dawn Renovations as a whole was truly an awful, gut-wrenching, and deceptive encounter. The lack of responsibility and integrity in ***************************** work was astounding and deeply disheartening. We advise anyone considering working with them to thoroughly research their credentials. As far as we know, *****/Dawn Renovations are still not certified RV technicians.
