  A soft inquiry popped up on my credit report. I called the number that showed up on my report and could not speak to anyone. Someone is clearly stealing my identity and I want the apartment complex notified. I own my home I do not need an apartment.

  I applied to a property that is owned by entrata **** My wife and I were approved to live there. We signed the lease. However they left the prorated rent and the security deposit blank. I called on 08/02/2024 for this information a I was told the security would be one month rent quoted at 1599 and 980 for the prorated rent -500 for a promotion going on. The rents initial price was supposed to be 1535. On 08/05/2024 I called to speak to *********************, the leasing manager. He stated he would fix the rent to 1535 and that my total move in expenses would be 1200 for the security deposit and 980 minus 500 for the pro rated rent. Later that day he emailed me that he misquoted me and that the security deposit would be 2299 plus 980 -500 for a total of 2779. I called back and asked about the the discrepancy. He said he could not change it but it was a mistake and he would ask his regional manager to fix it. After this on the same day 08/05/24, I received a denial letter and a move out charge despite never living in the property. He then refused to respond to calls or emails for the next 3 days. This company is unprofessional, predatory and incompetent. I would suggest staying away. This is an accurate account from my perspective. Some of the dollar figures are rounded for convenience of writing.

  Got denied for credit. I got approved at other places with higher rent. I never had issue with rent ever.

  This company also goes by Resident Verify and has a relationship with Servitas. They get prospective tenants to sign a blank release of all personal information, not just a credit check or criminal conviction check. They can look at work records, education records, character, driving records, civil court records, all government recordstalk with anyone they want about you with no limits and no due process rights or fact checking. Then, all your this personal information about you,whether true or not, is in a database they sell with who knows who. And you just wanted to rent housing. The US Government needs to shut them down. Dont sign away your life. Dont sign their screening to get housing.

  Applied to an apartment and I was denied due to having a falsely reported criminal record on Resident Verify which I DONT have one. I have applied to other apartments in the past that do not use Entrata and have had no issues getting accepted whatsoever. I will never sign with an apartment that uses Entrata and I would recommend you do the same.

  With the Entrata system, my water bill increased from $5-$9 monthly to $45-$50 monthly. I am one person. Neither my landlord or Entrata have an explanation. And no phone calls are returned.

  I have trouble with them sending or emailing me a bill. I have requested 7 times for a bill. Lousy customer service, 3rd party billing at apartment complex for utility. Rental office gives amount if I bother them, or catch them open. More often, no return phone call, office locked. Wild *********** for a bill. I will not have a APP for their convenience, and not very familiar with those. I write checks which seems more secure.How can I obtain a bill before the due date/rent. I dont want to be evicted.

  This place is ridiculous, I have been trying to move into a apartment and these people are taking longer then 2 weeks to approve my background. I applied at a different place and got a approval within an hour. These people do not care about your situation. Poor customer service

  This is a scam. They do not understand the law.They do not understand statistics.They lack customer service.They do not provide *************************** make unauthorized charges.This is a broken calculator that you can plug numbers into and maybe get the right answer every now and then.They should be the target of a class action law suit.
