    If I could give 0s I would. After a customer service agent got upset by a comment, nothing personal, that my husband said, they cancelled our subscription without any authority. While they returned our money, they also continued to harangue my husband and tried to start a confrontation. Customer service??? More like customer disservice!!! The only resolution would be to resubscribe. I would like something on record so others don't experience what we have.

    I was given a paid invoice from YNAB for their annual subscription that showed I had received a promotional discount of the full subscription cost. I attached this file. 2 days later, I received an email stating my account had been deactivated. I reached out to the manager and she stated that the invoice was a glitch and I would need to pay (although I had an active card on file they could have charged). I explained that I have an invoice showing it was paid and my card is on file so they could have charged me and the manager refused to help me out, refused to honor the paid invoice, and insisted I paid again or don’t have access. This is illegal business practices as I have an invoice showing services I never received.

    This is a company that provide budgeting services that directly links to bank and credit card accounts to help you see where you are spending your money and how to better budget. The problem with their service is for over a year they are unable to reliably import transaction made with AMEX credits. This is a known issue with AMEX and it affects all of their users. My complaint is at no time during the registration process to they disclose to their customers/user that this is an issue.

    My husband and I used YNAB’s services in 2021. However they stopped being able to process AmEx data and as that was our primary credit card at the time we ended our subscription. We were charged anyway and complained, but they said they could not help because Apple App Store does not allow them to provide refunds. Fast forward to January 6th, 2023 we are no longer using AmEx for our primary credit card needs and decide to give YNAB another shot. We didn’t remember our old log in information and didn’t feel like we needed any information that would have been stored there anyway, so we go in to create a new account and begin a short free trial offered to all new customers. At the end of the free trial we are locked out and are told that we cannot continue with our new account. I go through my old emails to find which housed our old YNAB and log in. This doesn’t help and so we continue attempting to log into our new account. Eventually we are able to access it, but we notice the next day that we have been charged for two subscriptions of $98.99 each for a total of $197.98. We immediately email their customer service which takes a couple days to respond. When they do we give them the account and charge information and request the old account to be refunded. They say that this is impossible.

    I have repeat issues where the service does not perform as advertised. I am unable to access any reports. And i cannot properly reconcile my account because staff refuse to reverse a a reconcile I didn't do.
