I had a great experience with The Ready Store. Purchased several water containers at a great price and they arrived quickly. Customer service was superb - responded quickly and very helpful. I inquired about ordering and additional accessory and they sent me one for free. I couldn't have had a better online buying experience.

The food I bought from them (hashbrown potatoes) have gone bad in the can after just a few years. Before I knew that, though, I ate two servings, thinking that it must just be that freeze-drying them makes them turn reddish brown. A couple hours later, I had very bad chest pains, BOTH times.I contacted them to see if they should be dark reddish brown, and they told me, "no, they should be golden."I am concerned that they can sell a product with a 180-day warranty, with marketing that says their food will still be edible in 25 years... what happens, when in say, 20 years, there's a horrible global food shortage, and thousands of their customers think, "Hey, I have emergency food in cans from The Ready Store!" When those customers open the cans, the may find out, just like I did, that the food is no good anymore.Shame on The Ready Store! I have contacted an attorney, who thinks this may be a class action.
