We mistakenly booked a hotel reservation online by mistake and immediately called the company (within 5 minutes) to correct the error. The company has refused to respond and has charged our credit card over $1,000.

On July 6th, 2022 I called what I thought was the Hampton Inn at **** ******** **, Hampton, VA 23666 to make reservation for a room with double beds from July 28th 2022 to August 5th 2022 ( nine nights). Despite my intention to call the Hampton Inn I got a third party service called Partner Fusion which I did not know at the time. I had told the representative I wanted a room with a double bed at the Hampton Inn. I said I'm military and to see if I could get the government rate of a $120 a night (my cap) because I'm on official orders instead of the $134-$140 a night rate. It is important to note that the representative's English was not great. The representative told me he would have to look up a bunch of deals online to try to get the room within my price cap during my requested period. After a brief hold he said he was able to meet the $120 night during the requested period and that my credit card would have numerous charges from different agencies. The charges were as follows; $7.99 (booking fee) + $158.12 + $230.84 + $159.03 + $331.96 + $252.34 =$ 1,140.28 / 9 nights = $126.69 a night. When I arrived in Hampton Virginia on July 28th 2022 What the representative booked for me was the Days inn at **** ******** **, Hampton, VA 23666 just down the street from the hotel I requested. At first I thought how did this happen and that due to the representative not having great English maybe he made a mistake due to both hotels being him Hamtpon Virginia despite asking specifically for the Hampton inn. However, the math does not add up at all for these hotels. The Days in at most is a $72 a night hotel x 9 and that's $648. I'm very confident that I was ripped off. I called Partner Fusion August 2nd, 2022 and explained everything above. It is important to note that the representative I spoke to also had poor English but he told me they would launch an investigation and it would take 10 business days. I've not heard anything from them so I'm elevating my complaint.
