    As a long customers Boomcloud I was promised that I would have a grand-fathered pricing structure. While in a number of occasions this was changed supposedly inadvertently to their per member fee structure, when brought to their attention this had always previously been corrected and refund issued. When it happened again this January, once again I brought it to their attention and was promised the refund. Several months later when I followed up as to why I was still being charged incorrectly, they backtracked and said a refund would not be issued. Why didn’t they inform me of this earlier and seemingly lie to me?

    On this occasion, for the first time and several
    months after I raised the issue decided that their promise of being grand-fathered would not be honored. While I find that very dishonorable, I understand that businesses need to adjust and I even agreed to their proposal to just grandfather in my existing members going forward.

    However, this ageement ultimately was not honored either. Therefore, despite being promised a refund, being promised that my existing members would be grandfathered BoomCloud failed to live up to their agreement. As a result, my fees for their services more than tripled. I would never have agreed to this and had I not been promised that refunds and changes would be made, I would have terminated immediately and not incurred what I consider to be exorbitant fees.

    I have been more than patient trying to resolve this amicably. However, the individual that I have been dealing with has made promises and commitments that she now says she too was unauthorized to make. She refuses to provide any documentation as to where their contract allows for unilateral changes without notice or why I should be held accountable for the increased fees when I brought it to their attention and was promised a return to my previous agreement and a refund.
